"Oh, damn." Shae said stamping her foot on the ground.
"My communicator's broken." Iris sighed "great, now we have absolutely NO WAY of contacting captain westfall."
"Does yours still work?" Shae asked her.
"Nope. I lost mine when we crashed."
Suddenly there was a slight crackle of thunder as dark storm clouds began to form above them.
"We should try to get back to our ship," Iris said. "it'll be better shelter than out here."
"Agreed," Shae replied, following Iris as they tried to make their way down the rocky cliff without slipping.Once they reached the ground, they felt small raindrops on their shoulders.
"Come on," Iris said, "lets hurry"
They ran as fast as they could back to where their ship had crashed, never slowing down.
But when they got there, their starship was nowhere in sight.
"The ship's gone!" Shae exclaimed.
"Yes, I see that." Iris replied sarcastically.
"But it was HERE no question!"
The rain began to fall slightly harder now, but still just a drizzle. Suddenly, they heard a dark, intimidating voice behind them. "Did you lose something?"
