Shae moaned as she awoke. Everything hurt. She tried to move but she was pinned to a wall.
Her arms and wrists where pinned to the wall by some sort of magnetic handcuffs, and she felt like she was hanging from a cross. Her legs were free to move, however, but she could only move her head up and down.
She struggled against her restraints, frowning.
What happened....? I must have blacked out while I was dangling from the Gargoyle's giant talons of death.
She was being held in a small room with little light coming from an unknown source.
Sek'loniir must be here somewhere. The only reason why she knew his name was because Westfall had been mumbling it in his sleep.
"You can not keep me here!" Shae yelled into the room. "You hear me!!?"
"Save your energy," a small voice spoke suddenly.
Shae looked down to see a small, weird looking creature that she had never seen before. It had round dull eyes, long ears and a hairless grey body. It walked towards Shae on its two back legs, holding his small arms(with unusually large claws) out in front of him. Shae almost laughed, he looked like a mini T-Rex.
"You have been...Left to die." The little creature said to her.
"Then I will escape!" Shae glared at him.
"Impossible," The creature said, shaking his head. "I have been here for more years than I care to remember!"
Shae didn't care about this creature's pessimistic attitude.
"I am cadet," She informed him. "We do not give up easily."
"A cadet?" The creature looked up at her with interest. "Oooh.. but so young!" He exclaimed.
"Where is your Captain?" The creature asked, as he scrambled up the wall so that he was at eye-level with Shae.
"He will come for me." Shae said defiantly.
"And...If he does not?" The creature asked, leaning in closer to her.
"He will!" Shae's tone was harsher now.
"What makes you so sure?" He said, leaning in even closer and brushing his long thin hand against her cheek. Shae leaned away as much as she could, disgusted.
But his words triggered a small bit of doubt in her mind.
The creature climbed up higher, and stepped on a round button that released Shae's wrists from the wall. She was surprised as her feet hit the ground.
She looked up at the creature, as he crawled down the wall. "Thank you," she said, skeptical as to why he was helping her.
"Don't you see, child?" He said walking up beside her. "You are alone now."
Shae looked down at the small creature. She could at least listen to what he had to say.
"If you are to survive," he continued, "you must forget your Captain."
Shae squinted. "I don't think I can..."
She was interupted by a sudden pain jolting through her forearm. She gasped in pain and looked down to see that the creature had bitten her arm. Shae was confused, and angry.
"What the hell?" She yelled at him.
"You are mine now!" The creature said, his hands Infront of him like an evil wizard.
Shae dropped to her knees, holding her arm.
She couldn't control what was happening... It was as if a poison was running through her veins, weakening her. Shae suddenly collapsed to the floor, unconcious.
The creature laughed and clapped it's hands together. The creature shook itself, and rose up about eight feet taller, darker and muscular figure of Sek'loniir. He gazed down Shae's slender frame, shuddering on the ground as her skin turned darker and faint black lines crawling on her skin, transforming her.
As Sek'loniir snapped his fingers, Shae's eyes snapped open, her irises a bright, eerie yellow. Thanks consulting_asgardian for this title idea... Since I couldn't think of one XD
