Shae and Iris whirled around to find themselves standing face to face with an extremely tall, muscular man wearing all black with a cape draped over one shoulder and a dark hood covering his face. The only thing you could see we're the glowing red pupils of his eyes.
"Who are you?" Iris demanded, glaring at him.
"That is none of your concern," he said, then Shae noticed the dark, gargoyle like wings that were behind his back.
she gasped. "you're a DEMON!" She shouted.
The man chuckled. "yes," he said lifting his chin slightly, "and no."
Iris and Shae exchanged confused glances.
"Uh.." iris stuttered, "what have you done with our starship?" She demanded.
"That, unfortunately was not my doing," the man explained.
And Shae thought she saw a glimpse of white teeth beneath his hood.
The rain now began to fall harder, and thunder boomed.
"The storms here are quite lethal," the man said. "If you want to live, I suggest you find shelter." Then he leaped into the air, his huge featherless wings carrying him high above the clouds, out of sight.
Suddenly a bolt of lightning zapped the ground right in front t of them, just missing Shae before she jumped out of the way. "Quick!" Shae yelled, pointing to the other side of mountains. "there's a cave over there!"
They bolted across the land, Shae running slightly ahead of Iris and they were almost there, the rain making it hard to see. suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the ground between Shae and iris, followed by a scream. Then, suddenly Iris saw flames as soon as the lighting evaporated. and then she realized that Shae's clothes were on fire.
