He made his way to the site of suspicion and began climbing down the sewer door. It was dark for a few moments as he climbed down the ladder, but he eventually was able to see again.

"This is giving me some bad PTSD," he mumbled to himself, examining the sewer walls. He watched as the dark-green muddy sludge ran under his feet. "Ugh," he grumbled to himself. Other than slight disgust, he seemed to be unbothered by it. He continued his trek through the sewers. As he traveled further down, he began hearing metallic grinding. There were people talking, all talking over eachother. They seemed to be working on some sort of machine.

The area was busy, their feet tapped rapidly against the ground. Spider-Man continued, going in further. There was a corner in the tunnel. A dim green light shone from it. He approached the end of the hall and peaked over the corner. "What the f..." he whispered to himself. This pathway lead to a much bigger room. An entire station. There were people all over the place, gathering files, setting up special devices, discussing god knows what.

There were platforms that protruded out of the walls all over the area. Some of them had doors, of which Spidey presumed lead to other tunnels. Control units and computers of all sorts graced some of the other larger platforms. In the middle of it all was, undoubtedly, a colossal sized missile. "What is this place? What is that doing there?" He mumbled to himself. A group of three people were approaching him from the side, so he quickly ducked back into the corner.

"Good. And what's the status on phase 3?" a female voice enquired. The three people were now visible from Spidey's point of view. "We're at 65%. We should reach full capacity soon enough," another voice replied. Abruptly the woman stopped and the two people beside her followed suit. "Soon enough? I need numbers Dr. Hudson," she demanded.

"Well, i-it's hard to be sure, there's so many factors that play into the-" Dr. Hudson replied, speaking very quickly, before being interrupted. "Numbers, Hudson. Not words," she snared. Dr. Hudson let out a defeated sigh and said, "If we had to make a rough estimate now, I would say 11 days." The woman scoffed and replied, "We don't have 11 days, we have 6."

"With all due respect ma'am," Hudson started, "Phase 3 has been processing and recalibrating at a constant, undisturbed rate. To tamper with it now could cause the entire machine to shut down, or even worse-"

"I didn't ask anything of you damn scientists, in fact I gave you every piece of equipment you requested and more. If you can't accomplish this task, I'll find someone who will," the woman threatened before continuing in a louder voice, "And someone give me a status report for Elise. Where the hell is my daughter?!" She stormed off, the two scientists sighed before leaving in the other direction.

Elise...is connected to this? Does she have something to do with the missile? What does any of this have to do with Y/n?!

On the otherside of the city, you and Elise were still together. She had brought you to a random food stand and bought you your favourite dessert. "Thank you so much babe! I don't know what's brought this weird onset of gifts," you started gesturing towards the 3 different bags hanging off your arms, "but I'm not complaining."

"No problem, my love," she replied, quickly kissing your cheek. "Ooh my love? That's way too romantic for an ordinary Tuesday, but again, I'm not complaining," you giggled. "Actually... there is a reason I bought you all this stuff," Elise mumbled, tugging at one of the bags. You gave a confused, "Oh?" before she told you to follow her. She pulled you away from the crowd where it was quieter and she could be heard better.

The two of you approached an empty space at the front of a small shop. "Okay. Uhm. You can't ask me how or why I know this, but just trust me. The entire city is gonna go up in 6 days," she blurted out, catching you off guard. "Up? What do you mean up? Like up in flames?" you asked. "I wish that was it. There's a... well, a missile. A giant bomb the size of the empire state building. I can't tell you why, but it's gonna be set off in 6 days,"
