You tapped your foot impatiently wondering why Spidey was late once again. How busy could he really be nowadays? you asked yourself. Like you always did when you were alone in public, you took out your phone and looked for someone to text.

🕷👦

YO! Where tf you at!?!?

Chillax dude. Look up.
~~~~~~
Confused at his reply, you looked up at the building in front of you. Nothing there.
~~~~~~
🕷👦

What?? There's nothing there, I don't get it.

NO idiot! Up and to your left.
~~~~~~
A sigh fizzled from your chest and you did just that. Your eyes brightened up as you notice him waving at you on top of a building. How the hell has no one seen him. And how were you supposed to get up there? As if he read your mind, he jumped off the building, swinging towards you.
You thought he'd simply land on the ground in front of you. Instead, he crashed into you, quickly scooping you up and swinging over to another building. He did end up catching the attention of a few people, but before anything could escalate, the two of you were already out of sight.
"Dude!" you cried as he landed with you onto a random rooftop. "You mind warning me about that!!!" you exclaimed, trying to catch your breath. He evilly chuckled before apologising. The two of you unravelled from each other as you continued the conversation. "Ah, don't worry about it. It's good to see you again," you smiled.
"Likewise! Also, we should get to another rooftop. It would seem that we've caught some people's attention," he replied.  He looked over the edge at a bunch of people searching the buildings for a red and blue figure. "You've caught some people's attention, you mean. But yeah I agree," you said, following Spider-Man's lead and peaking over the edge.
"Do I have your permission this time, your highness?" You rolled your eyes and commanded, "Yes. Now you have my permission. Swing me to yonder rooftop, page boy!" as you pointed in a random direction. "At your service, your royalness." Once again he wrapped his arm around your waist and you were swung to another building.
As the two of you cut through the air, it seemed like the blood in your body would rush all the way down to your feet, then all the way up to your head."Going down is so much worse than going up," you mumbled into the crook of Spider-Man's neck as you hid your face there. "You're doing great, don't worry we're almost there," he replied.
And just like that, the two of you were already on another roof. He set you down and let you regain balance before letting go. "Holy shit, I hate that so much. We're walking from now on," you heavily sighed and clutched your chest. "No promises," he shrugged.
"So, was there something you wanted to talk about or were you just in a 'swing people onto rooftops' type mood?" you asked while straightening your posture. "Nah, not today. But I did wanna talk about the Chameleon,"
"Yeah, AKA, the reason my house burned down," you quickly replied. Confusion masked his face as Spidey looked at you. "Right, Peter told me about that. You think the Chameleon caused it?" he inquired. "Well what else could it have been? It was either them or whoever they work for. What was their name?" you paused to think and began clicking your fingers, as if to spark an idea in your head. "Raymond Osnorp?"
