The Silver Savior

Chapter 6

Once again my writing didn't save and I have to rewrite this whole thing.  I had this chapter perfect with Sam's story, but I went back to it and found out that nothing is there anymore.  I feel like crying because I had her whole story and now it's not going to turn out right.  I'm sorry, but I'm going to end up shortening her story because I can't remember it all and I'm really upset.

SAM'S POV

"It started when I was only 5. My parents had said that I started showing abilities. Abilities that weren't normal for any wolf. I could give my thoughts to others even though I didn't have my wolf and wasn't connected to the pack. The normal age for turning was 10 so when I turned at age 7 my parents were worried. They didn't know what had made me shift so young and they couldn't figure out how it was painless for me. I had shifted alone so they didn't know who my wolf was. It wasn't for about another year that I shifted in front of my parents. They had insisted that I not shift because something could happen to my body. I couldn't let my wolf stay dormant so I went out at night alone to run and sometimes hunt. I learned how to fight in wolf form and how to use my wolf abilities. My wolf was the only one to ever help me.

"My parents saw my wolf about two weeks before by 8th birthday. A friend of mine was playing outside alone when rogues attacked. My friend could not protect himself because he was only 7 and without his wolf or training. I jumped at the wolf that was lunging for him, shifting in mid air, and snapped its neck immediately. The rogue was alone so I didn't have anyone else to fight. I carried my friend inside with my teeth in his shirt. I took him straight to my parents and commanded that he tell them what happened.

"I was still in wolf form when I had walked into the room and I had seen my parents eyes widen as they took in my wolf and I. They needed to hear the events out loud and not through my thoughts. They still had no idea that I could give my thoughts to anybody regardless of whether they were human, wolf or a were without their wolf yet.

"The boy had replayed the events while one of the guards were sent to get my clothes. The boy had finished just as the guard came back with my clothes. Everyone but my parent exited the room as I headed to the connecting bathroom to shift. When I came back I waited to here what my parents thought, but I was not scared. I didn't fear anything, not even them while I was only 7.

"My parents had asked me if I knew about my wolf and who I was.  They were upset to find out that I had known since the beginning.  I had learned everything when I first got my wolf.  She told me what was coming and what I would have to face.  I was proud that the moon chose me to have her own wolf for the job.

"My parents eventually got used to the idea of me as the Silver Wolf and wanted me to have official trainnig.  I refused to have the training because my instincts told me to.  I had to learn how to do things on my own without the help of others.  My parents only agreed to allow me to do my own training because they said my wolf spoke to them one night without me knowing.

"It continued on like this for over a year.  It was about 6 months until my 10th birthday when I started seeing things how they were.  People within my pack gave my parents odd looks.  Those same people avoided me like the plague.  Members of my pack believed that with me, trouble followed.  There was a divide in the pack when it came to me.

"It was a month before I turned 10 that I met a neighboring Alpha.  The Alpha claimed that he wanted me to mate with his son to create a powerful heir.  My parents and I declined because he was not mine.  The Alpha swore that either I would mate with his son or else there would be revenge and death.  Obviously you can see that revenge was the outcome.
