I stayed at Yoongi's for about a month. I went to work with minimal issues. A few unfamiliar faces asked about the scandal, but it didn't take long for the gossip to fade out. Taehyung's entourage denied the claims with groundless alibis and articles insulting Yuna for misinterpreting a strictly business relationship. I made sure to check in with Yuna throughout the weeks to make sure she was holding out alright.

Turns out she was just as happy as I was to get back at Taehyung. I forgot to ask why, but I'm sure she has her fair share of stories. As promised I repaid her with ... the personalized favor she requested. She invited me over for "dinner" three separate times.

Not to confuse it with one night stands. We never actually 'did it'. It was simply a business relationship as Taehyung's entourage called it. This week was the first week neither of us contacted the other, both of us deciding we were satisfied with ending our ties.

Our meetings were beginning to become more burdensome than beneficial. We decided it was best to stop meeting in person unless absolutely necessary. It was a slight pity. I was beginning to develop a friendship with Yuna. She was easy to talk to. Nonetheless, it wasn't too hard to break the contact.

I knew I was breaking the contract by staying at Yoongi's for so long, but honestly I don't think Taehyung wanted to see me either. For the entire month he made no effort to reconnect or even ask for aid in fixing the mess I caused. I knew sooner or later I'd have to be seen in public with him. It was then I'd have to give an Oscar performance to act madly in love with him like the scandal never happened, but I was enjoying the vacation.

Not only has the vacation away from the mansion been nice, but Namjoon has also proved to be...decent company. He doesn't leave his room often, but when he does he always strikes up a conversation. I can't help but melt into his every word. Whether it's a long explanation of a book I could care less about, or a scientific rant about why the name of a plant was misleading, every word that left his lips was utter perfection.

He reminded me of a giraffe. Naturally awkward and clumsy, but charming even in his worst moments. I'm not saying giraffes are charming...I'm not into that kind of...oh forget it. The point is, Namjoon was the most lovable nerd I've ever met. He was kind of like the smell of timber. The kind of smell you'd enjoy in moments of solitude and comfort. A warm scent.

He was easy on the eyes. It didn't take much for him to have my full attention. At times Yoongi would give me a suspicious look when he'd catch me listening a little too intently when Namjoon would be rambling about yet another boring book plot. Oddly enough I didn't care.

I don't know why I let myself listen to Namjoon for so long. He was just easy to admire. Like a wise elder you imagine has the answer for everything. Today I especially took extra care in watching his every move. I'd head back to the mansion today. I didn't want to, but the longing to see Mrs. Uim was far stronger than the fear of seeing Taehyung.

Knowing the basics on what happened, she didn't attempt to pry nor beg for my return. Even though I know she'd never ask for me to return, I knew better than to be so cruel to someone so important to me. Part of me was considering kidnapping her to live at Yoongi's with me.

The thought sounded perfect. Namjoon, Yoonig, Mrs. Uim, and I, all under the same roof. Jimin was paying frequent visits. It was obvious why, but I figured I'd let Yoongi and Jimin figure their shit out before I'd begin to pick apart why the fuck Jimin will waltz in, then disappear to Yoongi's bedroom for hours on end. That was a conversation for another day.

Namjoon drove me all the way back to the mansion. It was the middle of the night. I figured if I was lucky, Taehyung might be locked away in his office. I gave no warning of my return. I didn't want anyone to know I was coming back. I knew Mrs. Uim would be sleeping but I had a fleeting thought on how nice it would be if I could make her some kind of sad looking breakfast to surprise her with. She wakes up early, so I needed as much time as possible to teach myself how to cook from scratch.
