I felt the feathery touch of fingers against my cheek. I stirred a grin climbing to my lips. I shivered when the sensation continued to prickle my jaw. A sudden harsh slap caused my eyes to blow wide. I jolted up, my head spinning around fast enough to give me whiplash. Mrs. Uim stood over the mattress with a bitter smile and a red tint to her hand, matching the print left on my cheek.

I blinked in confusion.

"G-good morning." I uttered with a hoarse low voice, my mind scrambled into euphoric exhaustion.

"You're in trouble."

I sighed as I sat up. I rubbed my eyes, uninterested in whatever crime she would accuse me of. This wasn't exactly the first time.

"Enlighten me." I slurred.

She shoved the screen of an iphone in my face. I blinked groggily, trying my best to focus on the pixels. The second my brain registered the content, my heart sank. Rather than shocked or panicked, I was annoyed; disheartened really. On the screen was Namjoon and I. It wouldn't of been such a big deal except the press photoshopped us kissing with a giant headline, "Husband of Chairmen Kim Taehyung Caught Having an Affair". What bullshit.

I knew this would affect Namjoon far more than it would affect me. Hell, this could ruin him if I didn't play my cards right. All this commotion just because I was dumb enough to have a little fun with my life. A real fucking shame. I clenched my jaw.

"Is it true?" Mrs. Uim spoke, her arms crossed. I rolled my eyes and gazed into her eyes with a malicious expression. She immediately softened her stare, her arms dropping wearily to her side.

"Who is this man?" She inquired calmly.

"A friend." I spat. My brain was full to the brim with countless thoughts of violence of how I'd wring the necks of whoever had such a childish imagination to fabricate such nonsense. She sighed, switching her accusatory intent for that of a peacekeeper.

"Jungkook-" She started softly.

"I need one of Taehyung's dogs to track which bastard decided to cause a nuisance just for an extra penny. When I get my hands of them, I'm going to fucking-"

"Jungkook! Language!" Mrs. Uim spoke, startled by my demeanor. I slipped off the bed in a haste. I swung the door open and walked down the hall, a harsh thump to my steps. Veins protrude from my neck, my fingernails drew blood from my palms the harder I fisted my hands. Mrs. Uim followed me wearily. I forcibly burst into my bedroom. Taehyung was nowhere to be seen. With a huff, I headed for the dining room, my feet quick down the stairs. Maids and butlers were brisk to move from my path.

I stormed into the dining room, my eyes locking on my target. Taehyung calmly typed away on his computer, a half-eaten pastry to his left, a black coffee grasped in his delicate fingers. I tossed the phone on the table, the screen open to the article. Taehyung didn't bat an eye. I confidently glided to his side. I slammed his computer shut, nearly catching his fingers in between. He sighed deeply before he gazed with an indifferent grin. My clenched jaw ached from how hard I pressed my teeth together.

"Good morning, darling." He smiled. I slid the phone to him.

"Have you already asked your company to deal with this bullshit? Why is the fucking article still up!?" I snarled. He raised an amused eyebrow. He plucked the phone into his hands. He zoomed in unnecessarily close to where our mouths connected.

"Well, if the article speaks the truth-"

"It's obviously photoshopped! Anyone who thinks otherwise must be looking out their ass."
