Hero Finneas Tiffin

"Papa..Hailey said that she's my mum. She told me to talk like that with maa. She said if I do so, she'll give me chocolate but maa was hurt. I don't want chocolate I just want my maa."

I stopped dead on my steps and looked at him with wide eyes.

"Wh-what?"
I stutter.

I don't know what do think about this.
Jo will kill Hailey. She already don't like her and now that she'll figure out that all of the things took place because of her. She'll kill him.

As much as my blood is boiling on her, Josephine can't know about this. If I'll tell her that Hailey is the reason her son talked like that with her, she'll kick her ass.

I'll handle it myself and make sure that she leaves this house as soon as possible.

"Papa!"
Freddie scream in my ear pulling me outta my paradise.
"Huh?"
I look at him confused.
"Let's go papa. I want to say sorry."
He whine.

I muster up a smile and nod my head. Placing him on the floor and kneeling down to his height, I pat his shoulder.

"Papa have to take care of something. You go and say sorry to maa and don't tell her about what you told me. Go!"
I smile and encourage him.

He shrug and nod his head before he scurried off the room to his mother.

I took a deep breath. Trying to digest the information I got.
Harry's word kept ringing in my head.

"If she'll hurt my best friend I wouldn't spare any of you."

He definitely won't go easy on her. As far as I know, he can go to any length for his best friend and girlfriend.

"Maa?"
I heard a small nervous voice. I know the voice very well.

I slowly looked up from my phone. My eyes met with his small red ones.

"You'll not talk to him until he apologise. He need to learn some manners."

I took a deep breath.

You can do this Jo. He need to learn his lesson. Don't let Hero down. This is all for Freddie. If you want him to grow up as a good man, you gotta be little cruel at time like this.

I glance at him and turn my eyes back on my phone. Begin to aimlessly scroll through my emails.

"Maa?"
He called yet again. This time I rest my gaze on him. He fidget under my gaze before he looked up at me.

"I'm sorry maa."

My heart melt as his small voice quiver under my gaze.

I know I shouldn't but I can't help it. I sigh and open my arms wide open for him.

"Come here."
I whisper.

His eyes widen and he ran in my arms. I embraced him in my arms.

"I'm sorry Maa."
I nod my head and kissed his forehead.

"It's okay, baby. Please don't hurt maa like this again."

"Promise maa."
He mutter in my neck.
I nod my head and pulled him more close to my head.

I stood shock on my place.

"Because he indeed is my child and I'll take him away from you both. She snatched everything from me. Now it's my turn. I'm. Not. Going. Anywhere. I'll ruin her."

My breath was ragged as my heat pound in my chest.

What the fuck did she mean by that? And should I tell Jo about this?

I don't know what the fuck to do!
