Chapter 14

Josephine Langford

"What the fuck?"
As soon as I my eyes land on them, I just couldn't stop the words.
They automatically came outta my mouth.

Has Hero lost his mind or what?
What is this Hailey tryna do?
Ever since that day things have been strange.
Both of them are acting strange.
I don't understand.

My heart is crumbling.
It was clutching inside my chest.
It was getting painful to breath.

Calm down Josephine.
Stress is not good for you and the baby.
Remember what happened last time?
We don't want that to happen again.
Calm down.
Breathe.
In and Out.
In and Out.

My fist tighten and my nail dig in my skin drawing blood.
My eyes stuck on the figure sleeping on the couch.

My eye land on the box on the coffee table.
I lean over and pushed it off the table.
Startling them.
They both instantly sat up.

I cleared my throat.
Hero began to rub the back of his neck.
Not meeting my eyes.

But I want him too.
I want him look me in the eyes and tell me what's wrong.
I know there's something he isn't telling me.
The hormones aren't helping at all with my thoughts.
My thoughts are running wild, settling on the worst scenario it can. 

"Umm we were watching movie and we both probably fall asleep. I'll clean it up."
He stuttered and hastily began to clean the coffee table.

My eye strained on Hailey.
Who shamelessly sat on the couch.

I spun and went into the room.
I head in the bed and sat on the edge of the bed.
My fingers clutching the bed sheet.

What if I'm right?
What if something is going on between them?
If this thing will affect my baby in any way then this time I won't forgive Hero.

I got up and began to pace around.
I don't why I'm feeling like something is wrong.
Something is about to happen.
Which will destroy everything between us.
Because if any crisis arise between our relationship this time I don't think our relationship will ever be as it was.

A groan left my mouth as my knee bump against the bookshelf and a book fall down.
My hand instantly began to rub against the sore spot on my knee.
I bend down and pick up the book.
Something fall off the book.

I squinted my eyes and pick the the small box like thing.
Bringing it close to my eyes, I began to scrutinise it.
It was a micro camera?

Hero Finneas Tiffin

I dump all the food in the dustbin and rest my hand on the counter.

I feel so guilty.
Josephine is pregnant.
This will affect our baby.
But I don't understand how to stop it.

It's like every fucking door is closed.
There's no door of hope for me to escape from this problem.

Wait!
Or maybe there's.
Niall.

But what do I tell him?
I'll talk to him tomorrow!

I sigh and pushed my hair back and went back in the living room.

"Where's Josephine?"
I muttered.

"Went outside."
She replied without averting her gaze from her phone.

Josephine Langford

"Don't tell anyone about it. Doesn't matter who they are. We can't trust anyone."
I state.
Making it clear for him.

He nod his head and took the camera from my hand.
"I'll see what I can do about it. You don't stress out it's not good for you and the baby. Yea?"

I nod my head and smile.

"I may leave now. Thank you so much again."
I hugged him.

"No worries."
He reciprocate the hug and whispered in my hair.
