Chapter 24

Author's Pov

There stood Niall, near the entrance of their building, waiting to begin the worst night of his life.
He could feel his fucking heart, pounding his chest. He was nervous, it was a big responsibility for him. Josephine has imposed a very heavy responsibility on him. And he, at any cost didn't want to let her down and disappoint her.

Here Niall was waiting for Hailey to come down, whereas on the other hand, Hero was waiting for Juliet to leave the house, waiting to receive the message from Niall so that he could finally go in the room and sit with his wife, his new born baby.

Josephine was sitting in the room, with her Indi in her arms, she cradled her in her arms and pressed a kiss on her forehead. "My baby." She muttered and pressed another kiss on her forehead.

Harry stood there, with Clara, his gaze fixed on Josephine, he was worried for his best friend. He didn't understand, why God was doing such injustice with his best friend.

"Josephine, why don't you rest for a while? You must be tired. Give me Indi, I'll take care of her." Clara smiled a little at her and reached out to her but Josephine shook her head in denial.
She didn't want to spend a minute away from her daughter. She was afraid, her daughter would disappear.
Harry placed his hand on Clara's shoulder and shook his head, as if telling his wife to let it be and leave her with her daughter. Clara shook her head and placed her hand on Harry's hand, flashing him a tight-lipped smile.

Niall

Fuck me God! She'll eat my whole head. I just hope this all ends as soon as it begins. I hope everything goes as planned and Hailey is finally out of their life and I'm free from Hailey.

Man, i can't explain what a nightmare my days were when she was with me. She's too clingy and touchy.

"Hello Handsome." A shiver ran down my spine as her voice entered my ears, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

All is well, you can do this Niall. You can do this.

I patted my chest and turned around with the most genuine expression i could pull.

"Hello beautiful." I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer. She placed her hand on my chest and pressed a kiss on my cheeks.

Hailey wasn't a cake face or anything, she's beautiful, in fact very beautiful but she's just too much. It's like she's fake, not by face but by the way she acts or behaves.

"Come on let's go." She shook her head with a bright smile dancing on her lips. "Yea, let's go." She took hold of my hand and began to walk towards the cab.

Hero Finneas Tiffin

I don't know how many hours have passed since I've been sitting on this couch, switching through channels and boring the fuck out of myself, when all I want to do is go in the room, to my wife and baby, kiss her and tell her we did it. We did it and there's no more Juliet between us.

To be honest, I was frightened when Juliet told me to ask for a divorce from Jo. Thanks to God, i got the chance to explain myself and save my marriage.

When Josephine told me to stay away from our daughter, I thought i lost everything, my life, my will to live, everything.

It was around half past midnight when my phone beeped, pulling me out of my sleep. I rubbed my eyes and picked up my phone. I have been waiting, while sitting on this couch for more than five or six hours, doing nothing. But finally it was the moment we were waiting for.

As I saw the message from Niall, I couldn't stop "Thank God!" from slipping off my lips.

Niall:- Work done man, do it fast and lemme know when to bring her over there.

Me:- yea sure. Thanks a lot man. You have done a lot for me and my wife. I can't thank you enough.

Niall:- it's alright, don't worry about it. Just do whatever you wanna do fast, i don't think i can handle her much longer.

Me:- yea, yea. Bye.

I placed my phone in my pocket and dashed into our bedroom. "Guys! Pull your horses!" I yelled and dashed into the room. Josephine passed me a glare and hushed me, i chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck. "Sorry but Niall messaged, Let's get to work."
A glimmer of happiness ran through all of our faces. We all flashed each other a big grin and jumped in for a group hug.

"Oh my God, I love you guys so much!" Clara whispered. "Me too." "Me too." "Me too." I, Josephine and Harry whispered in sync and let out a chuckle as we looked at each other..I let out a laugh, untangled the hug and clapped my hands together. "Come on, let's get to work!" Everybody nodded their head and Clara removed her laptop from her bag and started working, we all sat beside her, stared at her laptop but hardly understood what she was doing.

Deciding it was waste of time to sit and watch, i got up and went to Indi , who was sleeping on our bed, with pillow placed on her both the sides.
I gently poked her cheeks, her cheeks turned a light shade of pink as she began to suck her bottom lips.

I kept staring at her for what felt like hours until Clara's voice entered my ears. "Done. Now she'll only see what we want her to see and that will be nothing. She'll see nothing." She clicked few more buttons before she switched off her laptop. Harry went and wrapped his arms around her. "I proud of you, baby." He kissed her lips and smiled at her. I too head over where Jo was and wrapped my arms around her shoulder and pressed a kiss on her forehead. "We are almost there."

"Hero, message Niall and tell him to bring her over, by that time let's get everything ready to record." I shook my head and we all head in the living room, except Jo, someone needs to be with Indi.

Me:- Bring her over, make sure she isn't sober enough, if you doubt it, give her some more drinks.

Soon enough he replied, as if he was waiting for me to text him. Probably he was.

Niall:- yea, she's completely drunk. I have been giving her shots after shots, i bet she can even stand without my support. I'm bringing her over.

"He's on the way. Come on, let's eat something before."

Few more chapters and we're done with their journey.
Most probably 4 or 5 more chapters.
In the next chapter we're gonna hand Juliet/Hailey over to the cops.
