"So does anyone know why Fury called?" Bruce asked as he took a seat beside Tony and took his snack.

"Hey!"

"There's a new mission. We need to take down two people, apparently. Russians," Steve said.

Clint scoffed. "That shouldn't need the whole team to be involved. How dangerous can these two people be?"

"If you want to take down the Black Widow and Winter Soldier down by yourself, Hawkeye, please be my guest."

Everyone turned to see Director Fury and Agent Maria Hills walking towards them.

Fury placed two files on the table, which Tony immediate scurried to open.

"Hey, the girl's not bad-looking."

"Shut up, Tony. We're on a mission, not a dating TV show. You already have Pepper, anyway," Bruce mumbled.

"Pshh, don't be jealous that you're still single——"

"——Tony, ever seen a flying pop tart?" Clint queried.

Thor exclaimed, "Wonderful! Where can I get those?!"

Clint snatched his pop tart and flung it at Thor.

Thor's expression morphed into one of horror, before his eyebrows furrowed with rage.

"Birdman, I'll make you pay for that soon!"

Fury cleared his throat.

Everyone quietened down.

"Moving on, this is Natalia Alianovna Romanova and James Buchanan Barnes."

Steve's eyes widened as he analysed the picture of Barnes. "He was one of the soldiers in the army. He was lost, I remember. I wasn't too close with him though."

"Mind-controlled by Hydra," Fury continued. "Meanwhile, Romanova was raised in the Red Room."

Clint cursed. "She'll be hard to defeat. The Red Room is known for producing the best spies in the world."

"She is known to be their best asset," Maria said. "They decided to train her with Barnes to become the deadliest assassins."

"They have killed hundreds of people. But recently, they have just been roaming around. Regardless, they are still extremely dangerous. Hence, we have to take them down. Any questions?" Fury said.

Everyone nodded. Thor sighed, gazing at the fallen pop tart before following suit.
