Leaving the heavily-secured underground lair wasn't as easy as Leo has intended for it to be. Between getting through Donnie's 'Post-argument tech' and his angry rat dad who was apparently a super famous ninja watching TV across the hall, Leo's hands were full. However, this wasn't the first time he had left unannounced in the middle of the night without anyone knowing. So he had it covered.
"Where are you going blue?" Master Splinter yelled from across the hallway making Leo jump.
" Um, I-uh...going to get groceries?" Leo replied while his whole body shook.
"At half past 10?" Master Splinter questioned.
"Yea....?" Leo shrugged his shoulders .
"Hmmmmmm..... Ok!" Master Splinter said and turned back to his show.
Leo nearly fainted from the amount of relief he felt as he ran out of the sewers and into the streets of NYC.
