Meet the Fam? Hate the Fam?

Leo wore a dopey smile after the kiss he had finally shared with (Y/N). He had so much planned for the rest of the date, but it was cut short with a phone call. Leo's phone rang and (Y/N) turned to him.

"Is everything ok?" She asked politely, staring at the pocket the phone was vibrating in.

"I'm just going to ignore it. We're busy right now." Leo stated, turning and forcing an annoyed smile at his date.

"It's okay, it's probably important!" (Y/N) assured.

Leo sighed and answered the phone. He put the call on speaker.

"'Nardo! WHY DID I SEE YOU JUST KISS A GIRL...A HUMAN GIRL?! DAD STILL HAS YOU GROUNDED!" An all-too-familiar voice yelled across the phone.

"Who is that?" (Y/N) whispered to Leo.

"It's my brother, Donnie." Leo told (Y/N). "Are you spying on me right now?" Leo asked Donnie.

Donnie paused for a moment, "would you believe me if I said no?" He asked.

"Probably not." Leo muttered.

"Just come home idiot! Dad is pissed right now! Also, he wants to properly meet your quote-on-quote wife. His words not mine." Donnie informed Leo before hanging up the phone.

"Well, do you want to meet my family? Just a warning, my dad is a rat."  Leo turned to (Y/N).

"Sure, why not? I've already been to the lair anyway and I already met your younger brother. What's the worst that could happen?" (Y/N) shrugged and laughed as tugged on Leo's hand as he guided her to the manhole cover.

The two lovers climbed down into the lair without any issues and walked towards the living room.

"Pops? I'm home! (Y/N) is here to meet you!" Leo yelled into the large room.

"You better have picked a lovely women to sneak out and see for the last however-many days." Splinter muttered before turning around in his chair.

(Y/N)'s eyes went wide and she visually cringed.

"What the hell?" She whispered in Leo's ear.

Leo just nodded and approached his father.

"Sensei, this is (Y/N) and please don't ground me in front of her, that's embarrassing!" Leo bowed and awkwardly smiled.

"I suppose." Splinter muttered before making eye contact with (Y/N). "How did you meet my son?" Splinter asked.

(Y/N) explained how her and the red-eared slider met and how they continued to bond. Throughout the story Splinter would occasionally nod his dad or mutter something. Once she finished the story Leo's brothers walked into the living room.

(A/N): SWEAR WARNING

"How did my brother score you?" Raph laughed and put his arm around (Y/N). Raph leaned down and whispered in her ear, "If you ever hurt him I will shove all of the sharp things I own so far up your ass that someone will think that they are a part of your face. Do you understand?"

(Y/N) nodded with eyes full of fear and she stood up straight.

"Leave her alone Raph! She's a nice girl!" Mikey yelled and ran to hug (Y/N). "Hi! The herbs I bought from you are doing amazing! Everything you told me was super helpful!"

"That's great! I'm happy they are doing well!" (Y/N) calmed down a little bit and smiled.

Donnie started to poke her with his staff and check her over, his eyes full of some kind of look that meant he was judging her. He would occasionally whisper things to himself that he said he "would test later".

"I'm sorry my disgusting brother kissed you." Donnie stated bluntly before walking away. Leo's face was full of embarrassment and he was clearly offended.

"I'm a great kisser Donnie! Atleast I actually got someone to kiss me!" Leo yelled at his brother. "Anyway, (Y/N) and I are leaving now because you interrupted our date. Let's go." Leo said before he grabbed his girlfriend's hand and approached the exit.

Once they left the lair and were situated (Y/N) sighed and frowned.

"What's wrong?" Leo asked.

"I don't think they liked me. Especially your dad. He definitely doesn't like me. Also, Raph threatened to stick stuff up my ass, so he probably hates me too! This is a disaster!" (Y/N) panicked.

"What? They definitely loved you! They are just overprotective, they'll warm up to you just give them time." Leo reassured before hugging (Y/N)z

"If you say so." She muttered.
