Everyone had esperares themselves from each other in order to avoid more conflict. Leo was still in shock that (Y/N) threw a punch for him. He viewed himself as everyone's protector, so it was kind of nice for someone to stick up for him, especially to his father. He had been having issues with Splinter and needed a break. Leo was brought back into the present by a hand waving in his face.
"Dude! You good?" (Y/N) asked.
"I should be asking you that." Leo chuckled as he resumed bandaging (Y/N)'s injuries.
"Leo, I'm fine. I have no regrets!"
"(Y/N), you literally threw a punch at my father for me!" Leo exclaimed.
(Y/N) paused for a moment, trying to figure out her boyfriend's current emotion, "you sound happy about it?"
"I mean....being the leader isn't easy, and there is a lot of pressure. Nobody ever sticks up for me like you did today and I really appreciate that." Leo slightly opened up, he's never said that out loud to anyone before.
(Y/N) simply smiled and hugged Leo tightly. They sat and just admired each others presence. (Y/N) let go of Leo and stood up, grabbing her phone off of his dresser.
"What're you doing?" Leo asked.
"Teaching you to slow dance. It always makes me feel better, and it's super romantic!" (Y/N) squealed excitedly and pulled Leo of of his bed.
They stood about an arms length apart and (Y/N) placed Leo's hands on her waist, her arms were wrapped around his neck. (Y/N) chuckled at Leo's awkwardness and pressed play to the song on her phone. She started to sway back and forth, Leo followed her lead as he started at her contently. He pulled her closer and swayed a little more. She was so close their forehead were touching and Leo just looked into (Y/N)'s eyes and sighed.
"What's the sigh for?" She asked, blush starting to appear on her face.
"You're so beautiful." Leo muttered as he gazed at (Y/N)'s lips and back up at her beautiful (E/C) eyes, "thank you."
"You're very welcome Leo." (Y/N) said quietly as they continued to dance in each others arms until dawn.
