Leo walked down the street of New York sneakily as he approached the colorful shop. Unfortunately, the shop had customer in it so the front door wasn't an option for entry.
Leo looked around and noticed and alley next to the shop with a door at the end, most likely for deliveries and other flower shop stuff. Leo shrugged and ran to the door, hoping it was unlocked as he jiggled the handle until it clicked. However, the handle was so rusty he was debating if getting tetanus was worth seeing his new "friend".
He walked into the back of the store as quietly as he could. He congratulated himself for being sneaky until a floorboard squeaked and you turned around with a panicked expression.
Leo waved and smiled as you ran over and pushed him into an open closet in the very back of the shop.
"Dang, I didn't realize you liked me that much!" Leo smirked.
"What the hell are you doing here!" You whisper-yelled.
"I'm looking for a bouquet of poppies." Leo said in a fake British accent, faking sophistication.
"Why do you want a flower that means evil?" You asked, tilting your head.
"What?- Wait. Huh?-" Leo asked before you grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the shop.
"Why did you actually come here?" You asked, your hand still on Leo's arm.
"I don't know. Curiosity, maybe because leaving the sewers once in a while is fun." Leo shrugged, his muscles tensing a bit. (I felt so cringy writing that)
You blushed a little, you had never realized how toned he was. "Ummmmm, you live in a sewer?" You asked.
"Ignore that." Leo said, as he moved to try and get around you.
"Where are you going?" You asked.
"Home? Where else would I go?" Leo smirked at the face you made when he made you 'look dumb'.
"You can't leave! Someone could see you!" You protested.
"I snuck all the way here, I can sneak all the way back too." Leo said as he put his left the alley and walked into the sidewalk.
"If he ends up getting caught and in a lab it isn't my fault." You whispered to yourself and walked back into your shop.
