Jealousy Can Be Good

Leo walked to the flower store to pick up (Y/N) for a movie and ice cream. Who didn't love movies? He had picked to go and see "Wakanda Forever" because Marvel is always a safe option. It wasn't that different from Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu so it would be enjoyable.

Leo finally arrived at the shop and he opened the door to see (Y/N) smiling and blushing as she talked to who he assumed was 'Max'. The sight made him want to throw up and die on the concrete floor. His heart rate was through the roof and his face went red from anger. 'She probably barely knows him!' Leo thought.

Leo approached the two and tapped (Y/N)'s shoulder.

"Hey, you ready?" He asked

"Oh hey Leo! Yea, gimme a sec and I'll be right out!" She exclaimed before running to the back of the store.

Leo death stared Max while he was turned around. Leo felt like he had to do something to keep him away, and he felt the need to protect (Y/N) even if she didn't need it. This guy was bad news and Leo could practically smell it.

He immediately snapped out of it when he saw (Y/N) smiling in front of him.

"Alrighty! Let's head out! I'm excited to see what movie you picked!" She said, her voice higher than normal.

Why was she so cheeky? She's never like this, maybe it was the stupid Max guy?

Leo grabbed her hand and walked with her outside. He was definitely blushing hard, but he had to start making moves.

"Since when do we hold hands?" (Y/N) asked.

"No reason. I just felt like it. Do you want me to let go?" Leo asked, putting on a fake smile.

"Nah. I kind of like it!" (Y/N) yelled and walked at a slower pace.

Leo was happy he was holding hands with his crush, but all he could think about is that guy and what might happen if he lets (Y/N) slip through his fingers.

They finally arrived at the movie theater and went in.

"What movie did you pick?" (Y/N) turned to Leo with a curious glint in her eyes.

Leo blushed and smirked, "Wakanda Forever, I figured it would be similar to some of the other movies we've seen."

"I've been wanting to see that! Max offered but I didn't really want to go because I barely know him. He seems like a great guy!" (Y/N) smiled as she led Leo to the seats they would be sitting in silence for the next couple of hours.

"I'm better for you though." Leo mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing. Let's just watch the movie." Leo said and sat down.

To be honest, Leo didn't care about the movie he was watching. He could only think about what we would do to Max if he even thought about touching (Y/N). Clearly, he had been thinking for a while because the lights turned back on in the theater and people started to leave. Leo rose and walked out with (Y/N). Once they got out of the building (Y/N) started to mutter and blab about the movie and how excited she was for ice cream.

"What flavor are you going to get Leo?" She asked innocently.

"Probably chocolate. I might get mint chocolate. What do you think?" Leo asked, breaking out of his trance.

"I would get chocolate because that's what I'm getting."

"We can match." Leo chuckled.

Leo and (Y/N) got their ice cream and sat on a park bench. They talked about movies, comics, flowers, food, and siblings.

"Do you have any siblings (Y/N)?" Leo asked, turning to the (H/C) girl next to him. The park bench was kind of crowded because of Leo's shell, so he was really close to (Y/N) and when he turned his head their noses almost touched.

"I have a sister. Her name is Aggy." (Y/N) replied.

"That's cool. Sometimes I wish I had a sister. I just have 3 annoying brothers!" Leo groaned.

"I'm sure they're not that annoying!" (Y/N) laughed and smiled, making Leo blush.

Leo paused and looked into (Y/N)'s eyes. "Can I...try something?" Leo asked quietly, not wanting to yell because of how nervous he was right now.

"Ummm, as long as it's not illegal?" (Y/N) shrugged.

Leo put his face closer to (Y/N)'s and looked into her beautiful (E/C) eyes again, paying attention the the flecks of gold and grey in her deep pits of (E/C). He could feel her soft breathing on his face and he kissed her. She hesitated to kiss back, most likely trying to comprehend what was happening. But, she kissed back. Leo could feel her eyelashes on his face, and it made his cheek twitch a little. He cupped her face with his hand and deepened the kiss. He pulled away and saw (Y/N)'s face become a deep crimson and a smile go from war-to-ear on her face.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." Leo sighed, looking into his crush's eyes.

"So are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend or?..." (Y/N) asked, chuckling at her turtle companion's childish personality.

"(Y/N) (L/N), will you be my girlfriend?" Leo asked, waiting for a response.

(Y/N) nodded and kissed Leo again, this time with more passion and confidence. This was going to be fun.

A/N: this is literally my longest chapter yet. I wanted to make Max evil but that can wait, because I had to write a grungy kissing scene first. Honestly I'm sorry I made it sound so gross and weird. The dialogue was also cringy but I was running out of ideas. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
