chapter 23

Third person's POV

It was Monday, the match day.
Jungkook was still contemplating about the match and Taehyung would've agreed to postpone to match as well if only Yeon didn't call him "coward" in front of the whole world.
Previous day when Jin sent an email to Yeon's manager regarding the match, Yeon literally called Tae a coward as the email was hinting something regarding the match postpone and Taehyung well didn't really like it since that guy judged him without even playing once against him so he was not going to back away from this now.

"You ready for the match? " Namjoon asked Tae as he entered into the living room, Tae flinched at the sudden deep voice and replied with a polite 'yes'.
"Ok then, the boys are already there and Yeon's manager texted me, their team is ready as well....so let's start?! " Joon asked cuz he could see Taehyung was a bit nervous.
"Yes hyung let's start" Tae replied, "give your best Tae and don't worry about the outcome" Joon gave him his assuring smile.

"It's not late Tae, you can ban Tamamo-no-mae" Joon adviced, Tae looked at Jk and he noticed how Jk was quite the whole time as if he was trying to figure out something. Tamamo-no-mae, Taehyung was the best in playing with this character specifically, the best attacker in Onmyoji and to his surprise neither Yeon nor did any of his team member banned Tamamo-no-mae so it was obvious he was going to choose her as his character in game after all it was his strong point, but well luck was not in his side, Yeon choose Tamamo-no-mae, which Tae didn't really understand cuz why would he choose the character which Taehyung was familiar with, from every aspect, Yeon could loose easily if he decides to choose her cuz Tae knew everything about that character.
Taehyung decided to go with Higanbana.
"Taehyung, Yeon is targetting you, so if you're choosing Higanbana pay attention to the development and don't directly fight with Tamamo-no-mae" Joon advised and Taehyung nodded, fully focused on the game.
"Prajna", " Yasha" , "Dodomeki" and "kuro" were Yoongi, Jimin, Jk and Hobi's character respectively.
Before starting the match Tae looked at Jin, he smiled at him and showed him a thumbs up and then he looked at Jk who mouthed him a "fighting".

At the beginning only Yeon started attacking Tae though Tae was composed but he was amused to see his skills. Tae focused on his character more and on the development as per Joon's advice and his fingers worked skillfully on the computer keyboard.
" Wow, it seems like Yeon is quite skilled with Tamamo-no-mae, looks like he trained a lot" Jin said, "it's okay, we're stronger and Tae if you feel like you can't fight just keep focusing on the development" Jk replied, completely focused on controlling his character.

After a certain point Taehyung noticed how his development was decreasing and he did panic at that but maintain a calm face and right after that Yeon keep attacking him and Tae noticed how his development dropped and he sooner it went down to zero and Taehyung heaved a sigh, the starting was not really good for him. "It's fine, we're doing good" Jk reassured Tae . "Hobi hyung, settle the view with me" Jk said in a hurry. It was obvious he wanted to end this one and win it somehow, he really wanted Tae to not be affected by this, cuz he could see what was coming.
"Jimin, go to the top lane and protect yoongi hyung and just be aware of Tamamo-no-mae's location" Jk instructed and Jimin nodded . "Just get a stable creep score in the mid lane and don't go hard on him" Jk once again said, as the leader he was doing as much as he could.

Taehyung was focusing on his development more "jimin, help mid" Jk instructed cuz he noticed Tamamo-no-mae was beginning Higanbana "yes" Jimin replied.
Jimin attacked Yeon, trying to defend Tae and Tae and jimin both started attacking Yeon but it showed "undefeated". Yeon was very skilled with Tamamo-no-mae, Taehyung could see it, he was handling Tamamo-no-mae very skillfully and Tae, for the first time felt defeating, his hands were trembling, Jk looked at Tae with the side of his eyes, he was just hoping somehow the win this, if not the team, atleast somehow Tae doesn't degrade himself for this.
