chapter 69

Third Person's POV

"Taehyung, there's a practice match at 5pm with LEX, will you be joining or should I tell Hyunjin?" Namjoon asked Taehyung during breakfast.

It's been three days since he cleared his name with Hyungsik's help and he was back at the base.
These days though, he hardly stays there, just at night and leaves after having breakfast, to spend his day with his father who was in Seoul currently.
His father was actually here to meet him as well as for some important meeting, so he was staying at the hotel with some other doctors who works with his father. Although they were at different rooms but Taehyung didn't want to stay over at night, since he knows his father would want to spend some time alone as well. He did make sure to practice daily though, he would return to the base and night and would atleast practice for about three to four hours and then only head to bed.
Jungkook and Taehyung still weren't talking to each other except for changing greetings.
Although, Jungkook did make sure to do everything to make it upto Taehyung. He would text him daily saying how much he missed him and how sorry he is, how he looked perfect in the attires he wore and everything else. He even gave flowers and cakes and chocolates to him as well, and Taehyung accepted them heartily, his heart melting at all the effort Jungkook was putting. But still he just wanted to make sure Jungkook wouldn't loose it like that again so he didn't talk to the other, maybe he'll finally do that now that his father is leaving tomorrow after watching AMOSX match.

"I think Hyunjin should play against them this time, after all he's the one who'll be participating tomorrow." Taehyung said as he finished his pancakes.
"Yeah, he's right. Moreover, we'll know how well Hyunjin can handle the other team so let him play this match." Jin also agreed with Taehyung.

"Alright, I'll take my leave now. I'll return a bit late today, but do not worry, I'll practice when I come back. Bye!" With that Taehyung walked out of the unit, not before taking his black back pack and slinging it on his shoulder.
Jungkook just stared at the other's retreating figure longingly, a small pout making it's way to his lips.

It was just Jimin and Jungkook at the breakfast table as others were already done. Jimin was done with his breakfast as well but he was painting his nails with the black polish, apparently Hoseok told him he would look quite cool with it, so he decided to give it a try.
"Stop looking like a heartbroken soul and go talk to him. All you did these days were giving him gifts without even talking to him. Like why would you send gifts through Hoseok? Man up and talk to him, talk about what you feel as well." Jimin said, still focused on his nail paint.
Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes.
"B-but what if he needs more time?" Jungkook mumbled out and Jimin let out an exaggerated sigh.
"Did you see how his face lit up when he received those gifts and flowers and all those little things? Bro he forgave you long ago, he just want you to think about where you went wrong and rectify that. He doesn't want to see that Jungkook again, cuz he knows how calm and composed you are as a person and even though it's okay to loose your calm, but you still had no right to say those mean words to your boyfriend. I hope you know that."
"H-how did you know we're together now?" Jungkook stuttered out. He had no idea that Jimin knew, not like he has a problem with that.
"I saw you two making out at the terrace once." Jimin just shrugged with a sly smirk as he saw Jungkook's face turning red.
"So...do you think I should talk to him today? Or..."
"What or? You'll talk it out with him today and then kiss, have sex or whatever just remember you have a match tomorrow." Jimin said and got up. He was about to walk away but he stopped and turned around to look at Jungkook again.
"What to work out at the other gym? The one which is near the riverbank." Jimin suggested, knowing very well the other is overthinking and working out always helps.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go at noon." Jungkook said as he got up from his chair as well.
