Chapter 67

Third Person's POV

"Taehyung, I hope you understand the club's decision for you to be a substitute player for your next match. I know you're a great player but the fans are all going crazy right now, some are definitely supported you and understands you but some are...you know how it is. Jungkook's mom suggested that you should be kept as the substitute player for the next match and we agreed on it as it looked like the best option." Mr. Choi explained everything to Taehyung at the end of the meeting.
The meeting was basically about how to handle the situation and they ultimately decided to give it time to let the situation cool down first. For now, the club will release a statement about Taehyung being the substitute player for the next match, and Hyunjin being the mid player for the upcoming match.
Taehyung just agreed to whatever they said as he was completely okay with it. Though, it did hurt when Jungkook didn't even spare him a glance, or give any reaction when they said Taehyung can't play in the next match. It did hurt when hid own boyfriend ignored him as if the meeting isn't even about him. It did hurt.
Taehyung didn't want to dwell in those thoughts again, he needed to think about that girl first. He somehow just needed to get that video.

Jin, Namjoon, Jungkook and Taehyung walked out of the meeting room and were waiting at the lobby as Jin and Namjoon were talking to someone.
Taehyung's phone rang just then.
"Okay wait for me, I'm coming." Taehyung said excitedly and hung up right after.
As soon as Namjoon and Jin were done with their conversation with the stranger, Taehyung immediately talked about his meetup with Hyungsik.
"Hyung, can I spend the day with Hyungsik today? I promise I'll be back tomorrow before lunch and will practice an extra hour as well. Please, can I go?" He asked and looked at Namjoon and Jin expectedly.
"Of course, you don't have much on your plate now, so you can give your time to your friends and family, they must miss you as well. You've been quite busy these months after all." Namjoon said with a dimpled smile and Taehyung showed a huge smile in return, and Jin chuckled at that.
"Okay thank you! Bye." With that he hurriedly walked out of the huge building and immediately ran towards his best friend's car which was parked right at the front.

"Oh hello there, it feels like ages since I last saw my Taehyung-ie." Hyungsik dramatically said as he hugged his best friend and both walked back into the car after pulling out of the hug.
"Fuck! I missed you so much." Taehyung grumbled out as he adjusted his seatbelt.
"Yeah, ofcourse you did! You were busy with your new boyfriend and gaming after all. You didn't even text me regularly." Hyungsik complained dramatically but stopped as soon as he saw how Taehyung's face fell at the mention of Jungkook.
"Hey hey, I was kidding. Jungkook is behaving like a jerk now but maybe he has a reason too. Don't overthink too much, yeah? Did you two talk after yesterday's fight?"
"We didn't. He was ignoring me." Taehyung said as he looked out of the window.
"Then don't talk to him unless he initiates it. He did behave very rudely with you and I think he should be apologetic for those harsh words."
"But-but I miss him. I really want a hug from him now, I need his hug." Taehyung mumbled out in a small pout.
Hyungsik sighed and focused back on the road.
"So what's the plan?" Hyungsik asked after a while when he noticed they're nearing to the location the studio head gave them.
"I'll apologize and try to act like a nice person and then will finally somehow make her manage to ogle out the truth and then you need to distract her for a while so that I can get teh video from her phone. We leave as soon as we're done. Also, you'll voice record the whole conversation where I make her vomit everything out." Taehyung explained with a small smile, a creepy small smile.

Taehyung knocked at the apartment door  for a few times.
A lady in blue summer dress opened the door for them and Taehyung recognizes her as one of them who supported the girl and talked back to him.
"What the heck are you doing here?!" The girl asked angrily and was about to shut the door when Hyungsik stepped in a bit to stop her from closing the door.
Hearing the chaos, two other girls walked out as well and Taehyung's eyes fell on Eunmi, the girl behind all the drama. She stared at Taehyung for a good while before glaring at him.
"What are you doing here?" The girl almost barked out.
"Hey Eunmi, can we talk for a few minutes. I'm not here to cause you any harm or anything, I'm just here to apologize to you and talk to you about something else which our club is offering right now." Taehyung said these words in  a way which made him sound apologetic and Eunmi seems to buy it as well.
She held open the door for two of them and made some space to let them in.
"Thank you so much, I'm so so grateful to you for giving me a chance to speak to you." Taehyung said as he sat on the couch Eunmi motioned.
"Uh can we talk a bit personally? I mean well umm can you ask your friends to go out for a minute?" Taehyung asked hesitantly and Eunmi looked at him suspiciously.
"What if you do something wrong to me?" She questioned back.
"I wouldn't dare. Also, you're clever enough to understand if I'm capable of doing anything or not. The situation I'm stuck right now will not allow me to do anything and I won't even dare. I even brought him with me to assure you that I'll not harm you in anyway." Taehyung said as he motioned towards Hyungsik.
Eunmi hesitantly nodded and asked her friends to leave them alone for a while.
