Chapter 79

Third Person's POV

Jungkook stirred in his sleep when he felt shuffling beside him. He groggily opened his eyes only to see Taehyung sprinting towards the washroom. Since his vision was blurry because of the sleepiness he couldn't see much, but he could definitely tell Taehyung wasn't fine. He immediately got off the bed and went to the washroom - the door was open.
He walked inside the bathroom to only see his lover puking his guts out. His eyes widened as soon as he saw Taehyung clutching onto his stomach as he throws up. He immediately marched towards his lover and removed the hairs falling over his face, and rubbed his back soothingly.
After about five to six minutes Taehyung finally stopped throwing up - for the time being - and Jungkook flushed the toilet in his behalf - the other looked quite pale and weak.
Jungkook helped Taehyung to stand up and wash his face - the other still looked quite sleepy and tired.

Taehyung sat on the bed, his breathing a bit heavy because of throwing up everything at once.
Jungkook handed him a glass of chilled water and he gulped it down in one go, his throat feeling too sore.

"Baby, are you feeling better now? Do you want me to get some medicine?" Jungkook asked as he sat beside Taehyung, immediately making him sit across his lap.
Taehyung just dropped his head on the crook of his neck and sighed.
"I feel okay now and it's just four in the morning, sleep. If I throw up again, I'll take medicine. I just feel a little cold for some reason." Taehyung mumbled out, his voice a bit hoarse.
"Wait, let me grab something warm." Jungkook said as he placed Taehyung on the bed again and walked into the closet. After a few seconds he came out with a big olive jumper in his hand.
By the time Jungkook walked back into the room, Taehyung was dozing off.
"Love, wear this real quick and we'll sleep again." Jungkook said and Taehyung lazily wore the jumper with Jungkook's help.

"Sleep." Jungkook mumbled out, holding Taehyung securely in his arms as he planted a small kiss on his cheek, the other already drifted in his dreamland.

Neither Jungkook nor Taehyung slept properly. Taehyung woke up twice after that just to throw up the water, his temperature was also increasing - which made Jungkook shitless scared.
He could clearly see how his lover had no strength to even get up from the bed and throw up, continuously sneezing and coughing - which forced him to think that he shouldn't have given the chilled water to Taehyung, maybe that what caused the fever?

Now, Jungkook was just leaning on the headboard with Taehyung sleeping in his arms. It was past seven in the morning and Jungkook decided to make something light for him once he wakes up and call the doctor.

Seokjin as promised called the doctor almost immediately and went inside the kitchen to cook something for Taehyung. He decided to go with a simple chicken soup - since he wasn't sure if the other would be able to take in something solid.

When Seokjin walked in to their room - Jungkook has already kept the door open.
"Is he asleep?" Seokjin asked as soon as he placed the tray on the bedside table.
Taehyung was still sleeping in Jungkook's hold, looking much more comfortable than before.

"He is." Jungkook sighed out, his left hand protectively wrapped around Taehyung's shoulder, while his right hand caressing Taehyung's face.
"I called the doctor, he'll be here in few minutes. Others are not exactly awake yet, I'll give them the morning off. But...I suggest you wake him up a bit later, he just slept I guess. I can always make some soup again but let him rest now. I'll bring the doctor in the room once he arrives." And with a gentle pat on Taehyung's head and after checking Taehyung's temperature properly he walked out of the room.

"You'll be okay, love." Jungkook mumbled  out into Taehyung's lock before kissing over there.
Taehyung squirmed in his sleep once or twice because of the pain in his abdomen.
By the time the doctor came, Taehyung was half awake, whimpering because of the abdominal pain.

"Looks like he got stomach infection. Atleast that's what I understood by the symptoms. Just tell me did he eat any stale food or something he's allergic to?" The doctor asked after he examined Taehyung thoroughly.

Jungkook frowned at the question. He always makes sure to give fresh food to Taehyung and they haven't had any Junk food in a while.
"Not that I remember of..." Jungkook mumbled out, still trying to think if he mistakenly fed something bad to Taehyung.
"What did he eat last night then?" The doctor questioned further as he noted down the temperature on the prescription.
"He didn't eat anything after lunch....hyung did he have something when he was downstairs?" Jungkook turned towards the other members who were standing behind the doctor, looking as worried as ever.

"The last thing he had.....oh fuck! He had those cupcakes, they were atleast two days old." Jimin said out loud, his eyes as wide as ever.
"It is stomach infection then. Please don't consume stale food, make sure to eat fresh stuffs, yeah? I'll give him three medicines, especially for his vomiting since it'll get worse with time. The infection will probably last for a week if given medicines properly and fed healthy food but the thing is he'll have mild fever even after taking the medicines, that won't be normal untill the infection is completely gone. He'll also have headache because of the side effect of the medicines but nothing to worry he'll be okay within a week. Make sure to give him the medicines right on time, he looks a bit worse to me, he is very pale so I guess his immunity is affected badly." The doctor finally handed over the prescription to Seokjin who studied the medicines properly before Yoongi snatched away the prescription saying he'll get the medicine as soon as possible.

"Tae, get up love....you need to eat something."
Jungkook was worried sick for his lover as he saw how Taehyung was clutching onto his stomach in his sleep. Also, the other didn't eat anything at all and that's also bad for health. He atleast need to feed Taehyung something to give him the medicine.
Thankfully Taehyung was not asleep when he called out for him. He looked up at Jungkook with droppy eyes, passing him a small tired smile.
Jungkook smiled back immediately, leaning in to kiss Taehyung but the other moved his face away, making Jungkook frown.

"Why would you do that?" Jungkook whined out.
"My mouth stinks. Can you please get the mouthwash from your room, mine is already finished." Taehyung said, his large palm covering his mouth to not let any bad breathe slip.

"Aren't you being cruel? I don't care how your breath smells, let me kiss you." Jungkook said with a small frown which made Taehyung smile again.
"Just get me the mouthwash and let me wash my face. We can bath together after that, how does it sound?" Taehyung asked, his eyes soft but his voice sounded too hoarse for Jungkook's liking. He made a mental note to feed something warm to Taehyung as soon as he gets out of the bath.

"You should go live or atleast do that ask me session in Instagram, fans are literally going crazy since they haven't seen in you such a long time." Taehyung mumbled out as he scrolled through twitter, looking at every tweet he comes across.
Taehyung was again seated on Jungkook's lap and the other was feeding him plain vegetable soup. At first Taehyung wasn't in the mood to eat anything at all but after a lot of persuading he finally agreed to have five spoon - which turned into fifteen as Jungkook pushed a bit further, knowing the other actually needed it.
"Once you get better." Jungkook replied as he fed the last spoon to Taehyung, who had it without shy difficulty.

"Are you full?" Jungkook asked softly.
"I am. But I'm sure I'll throw up soon after." Taehyung said in a small pout.
"It's alright, have the medicine for now, it may help." Jungkook said as he handed over the medicine to Taehyung, who lazily opened his mouth.
