Third Person's POV

"Mom, I swear I was going to tell you two during the winter break." Taehyung tried to explain his mother once again.

Basically, once they returned to their unit Taehyung received a lot of calls and messages from his friend and fans but the notification that stood out to him was "13 missed calls from mom". He didn't waste a second before calling her back.

Now the couple was sitting in Taehyung's room, Taehyung had his head on Jungkook's lap while Jungkook was caressing his hair as Taehyung speaks with his mom, his phone on speaker so that his boyfriend can also hear it.

"I don't believe you a bit also. Even your dad doesn't look surprised by it, that means he also knew it but didn't dare to tell me. That's so evil of you two! Now tell me when are you bringing your boyfriend home?" Mrs. Kim asked through the phone and Taehyung chuckled at his mother's change of behavior. One moment she was scolding and throwing tantrum about not telling her about his relationship and the next moment she's asking when he'll be bringing his boyfriend home.

"I don't know, invite him yourself, he's right here." As soon as this words left his mouth Jungkook looked at Taehyung with wide eyes, not expecting Taehyung to push him under the bus at all.
"Bro no! what the fuck! Why are you pushing me under the bus?" Jungkook whisper yelled.
"Mom, Jungkook is saying he wants to talk to you as well, here." With that he handed him over the phone, with an extremely sweet smile.
"That's what you get for calling me bro." Taehyung whispered into Jungkook's ear's and the other glared at him play fully.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Kim." Jungkook greeted her nervously. Taehyung had to put his hands on his mouth to stop himself from giggling out loud.
"Ohh shush boy, don't be so formal. Call me Yeri or better if mom, whatever you want." Mrs. Kim said in an excited tone.
"O-oh alright....mom."
Taehyung couldn't help but smile softly at Jungkook when he called Mrs. Kim mom. He knows Jungkook never had a mother figure to look upto, he only had a business woman in his family who never treated Jungkook properly. He was glad Jungkook chose to call his mother mom cuz Taehyung knows very well Mrs. Kim will treat him like his own son.

"How are you doing, Jungkook? Is my son troubling you too much?" Mrs. Kim asked with a small laughter.
Jungkook also chuckled at her question and looked at Taehyung, who was looking at him with narrowed eyes.
"I'm good...mom. And about Taehyung...well he is a brat but it's okay I can handle him."
Taehyung poked his tongue out at Jungkook's statement.
"I agree! He can be so moody at times but I hope he's taking care of you as well, I hope you two are happy together. Once, I told Taehyung-ah about you being so handsome and completely his type, haha never expected him to actually score such a handsome man." Mrs. Kim laughed lightly at her own words while Jungkook looked at his boyfriend - who was sighing dramatically at his mother's words - with an amused smile.
"Oh really? I'm glad to find myself such a beautiful and handsome man as well...he's truly amazing." Jungkook replied with a small smile.
"Jungkook, Taehyung said he's coming home on 23rd December so please come have Christmas dinner with us and stay here for two days, I'm sure you'll like it here." Mrs. Kim invited Jungkook politely and Jungkook can never say no to that soft motherly tone.
"I'll be there. Thank you for inviting me." Jungkook said with a huge grin, his dimples on display. Taehyung couldn't help but leaned in to kiss his dimple. The other looked too beautiful with that smile to not kiss.
"Oh shush, you're like my son too and if you want you can visit here before as well, without Taehyung. I won't tell him don't worry, this will be our secret. Just let me know your favourite dishes so that I can make those for you." Mrs. Kim said, a smile evident in her voice.
"Okay mom, I see you have your favourite now." Taehyung commented from Jungkook's side, loud enough for his mom to hear.
"Of course I do! Now I'll gossip with Jungkook and will keep our own secret. You and your dad can go to hell." Mrs. Kim said with sass and Taehyung was forced to roll his eyes.
"Don't worry, Tae, I'm here for you....Well first I need to see if Jungkook's company is better than yours or not, and then I'll decide." This time Mr. Kim said from the other side which made Taehyung let snicker.
"First of all, my company is always the best. Second of all, why didn't you call me in the morning if you had a day off? Third of all, I don't care if you two like my company or not, Jungkook loves my company." Taehyung grumbled out, trying his best to glare at the phone in Jungkook's hand.
"We need to see that." Jungkook decided to tease Taehyung a bit more, enjoying the angry look on Taehyung's face, making him more adorable.
"Oh my my! Taehyungie your Jungkook is taking our side." Mrs. Kim said, the older couple laughing at their son's grumbles.
"Fine, talk to your Jungkook then." And with a last grumble Taehyung went out of his room.
