Just a heads up, this is a long chapter as I described the whole game in this, and I advice you to read the whole chapter cuz there's something at the end and i guess y'all will like it and ik y'all want jealous Kook and you will get not only jealous kook but jealous Tae as well in the next chapter. Third Person's POV

Taehyung was nervous, or maybe that's an understatement, but you can't really blame him for being nervous about his first match.
Taehyung has never imagined himself as an esports player, so right now as the volvo stopped right in front of the event center aka the esports arena.
Taehyung could hear the fans shouting on top of their lungs and also screaming out the members names. Jin was the first one to get out of the volvo, followed by Namjoon, both of them went towards the entry and stood on both sides talking to few of the bodyguards. Then Jimin got out followed by Yoongi, both of them surrounded by three bodyguards, fans were going crazy and Taehyung could see their excitement through the tinted window. Next hyunjin and hobi went out, both of them surrounded by other three bodyguards. Finally, when he realised only he and jungkook are the ones who are left that means he has to face them now, he could see more people joining the crowd, maybe because Jungkook was suppose to get down. He felt a light tap on his shoulder and he looked up to Jungkook who was staring at him. "Are you okay? Why are you fidgeting so much?" Jungkook asked as he noticed how Taehyung kept fidgeting with the rings he was wearing. "Uh I'm just a bit nervous" Taehyung hesitantly said and Jungkook could indeed feel the other's nervousness so he assured him "don't worry I'll be there, everything is gonna be fine, lets get down" Jungkook said and grabbed Taehyung's hand and guided him towards the door.
Once they got down Taehyung couldn't focus on one particular thing, fans were screaming their names and trying to reach out to them but thankfully the bodyguards were cautious enough, amidst all these all Taehyung could think of was Jungkook's hand holding his own, he noticed how tiny his hand looked compared to the other and how warm it felt and before he could realise anything they were already inside the center and walking towards their room.

"Uh kook you can let go n-now" Taehyung said and tried to pull out his hands but Jungkook didn't even acknowledged what he said and kept walking hand in hand, untill they reached their room and Taehyung pulled his hands away.
"Hey stupid, what took you so long?" Hyunjin asked once he saw Taehyung and Jungkook entering one after another. He noticed how Jungkook's face turned a light shade a red and he imagined that must be because something happened between Taehyung and his brother so he didn't bother asking anything else.

"Okay listen, this is the first match of the championship we have to give our best. As usual do not care about the end result just focus on your performance and do not do anything which will harm the team. I believe in y'all, ik y'all will do great" Namjoon said to the members and nodded enthusiastically except for Jungkook, who was dozing off on the couch while Seokjin massaging his head.
Taehyung frowned at that but didn't ask anything, thinking maybe the other was feeling sleepy.

All the members went to the arena to set their devices. "Hello, welcome to The National Championship. It's been a few months since we last met. The last time we had Team AMOSX with us for the finals and now for the opening match also we have one of the strongest team, Team AMOSX." Loud cheers were heard once the first commentator finished. "Let's introduce both teams we have here with us, shall we?" Park Hyungsik, the other commentator said.
"From group A we have Team AMOSX. Jeon Jungkook or Jk, the leader and the AD of the group, Min Yoongi or Suga the top lane player, Park Jimin the jungler, Jung Hoseok or Hope the support and now finally we have Kim Taehyung a.k.a V, the new mid player of the team." Again the crowd erupted into cheers once AMSOX's introduction was over. "From Group A we have another team, Team KINGS. They are the first ever group to make it to the National Championship within the first 3 years of their career so we can definitely expect an exciting match. First we have Park Hwan, the jungler and the leader of the team, he is the main reason behind their team's success and it seems like he's white confident on his team, that's good, expect nothing more from the opening match of the championship. Here's a small message for Team AMOSX from Hwan" The screen went black for a moment and all the players looked at the screen except for Jungkook cuz he wasn't feeling great, his headache was getting bad and he knew if he says something about this now others would probably be worried so he kept quiet and focused on setting his device.
Hwan appeared on the screen "this message is for Team AMOSX, it took me a lot of effort to get where we are and now even if I admire you all and especially Jk but I wouldn't hesitate to beat y'all in the game, so watch out" And again the screen went blank.
Taehyung chuckled at that and Jimin commented "he looks so short from that angle lol, it didn't even look like a threat" and he received "funny coming from you" from Jungkook which made him whine and Taehyung chuckled at that, feeling a little at ease.
Everyone put their headset on and the whole arena became silent. "Basically they want to kill Jimin first and then attack me" Taehyung said and Namjoon was right behind him cuz ofc he needed to help the members with the banning and selecting the characters.
"Taehyung you can pick Ootengu" Namjoon said and Taehyung replied with a ok.
"Let's see if the new team becomes successful in destroying team AMSOX or not. Since both the teams are ready let's check the lineup" the first commentator said and everyone looked towards the big screen.
Team AMOSX, suga picked Ibaraki-doji, jimin picked Yoto Hime, V's choice is Ootengu, Jk picked Dodomeki and finally Hope picked Ichimokuren. On the other side the top picked Shuten Doji, jungler picked Mannendake, mid picked Reiki, Ad picked hakuro and support picked Kuro." The commentator announced.
"Don't forget, focus on Jungler. Our top, mid and jungler that is you three will work together. Fighting" With that Namjoon went to shake hands with the other team's coach and both left the stage after that.
"Let's give our best" Jungkook finally said with eyes focused on the screen and Taehyung couldn't help but notice how hoarse Kook's voice sonded but he couldn't ask about it right now, so he decided to ask him once the match is over.
"Okay so the match is on you three, Jk and I will just play around. Hey Tae would you like to lead? " Hoseok asked playfully and Taehyung looked at him innocently and said "huh no way, I'm a new player, I shouldn't take this much load on my delicate shoulders so the responsibility is on Jimin and Yoongi hyung, they'll handle it, I'll also play around with you two, in fact I'm so freaking afraid of their jungler oh my god" and after he finished jungkook said "shut up, make sure the jungler is afraid of you" "Ik Mr. Oh so serious stop, I was joking" Taehyung snorted out.
"So all the 10 players have selected their characters, let's look at the game" The commentator said. And everyone's attention went on the screen. Each player completely focused on their screen, fingers moving swiftly over the keyboard. Fans were also chanting out the members names while focussing on the big screen.
Back at the team AMOSX's personal room, hyunjin, Namjoon and jin were also focused on the screen when suddenly hyunjin said "do you think we should trust Taehyung's technique in this? It's kinda risky ykwim" and jin agreed on that but Namjoon said "he knows what he's doing and on top of that he was the one who was awake the whole night and saw the other team's technique I'm sure he knows better. Trust him on this".
