After a long fought battle, we finally defeated him. His purple aura left his body as he slowly began to fall to the ground. Though I couldn't help but feel a strange power looming before our heads. I couldn't explain what it was exactly but...it felt evil and sinister....I quickly shook it off after all, there was a victory to be celebrated! The armored man and I exchanged smiles. I was finally able to see his face clearly. 'We finally did it ' I thought to myself. Through the corner of my eye I saw a bright light.

Validar: This isn't over...damn you both!!

Without thinking at all, I pushed aside the armored man, taking the blast. I fell to the ground with my ally running to my aid. "Are you alright?! Damn...my carelessness got the better of me..." He said. I nodded slightly, still in a bit of pain. "Thanks to you we carried the day...we can rest easy now." The armored man said. My joy was interrupted by a strange feeling of corruption. Red veins covered my eyesight as I struggled to regain control of my body. "Hey...are you alright?! Speak to m-" The armored man stopped speaking. His face went pale. Stepping away from me, I noticed a bolt of lightning in his stomach. I stared at my hand in horror as sparks of electricity flew from my hands.'Wh-what just happened?! What did I do...?!'

Chrom: This is not your...your fault...promise me...you'll escape from this place...please go....

His last words rung to my head. Constantly playing, over and over again, like a broken record. I stared at him blankly as he fell to his death. I could hear the sounds of the purple man, laughing at our despair, mocking us. 'Why did it have to end like this?!?!'
