THUNDER!

Hundreds of foul demons slowly faded into a blackish-purple mist befallen to a streak of yellow light. The ground released small sparks of electricity as I closed my tome. "We need to wrap this up before we get surrounded!" I yelled across the battlefield. "Robin look out!" Chrom forwarned me. I quickly turned around to see a story to late to change, a Risen already to late in motion to stop him from swinging his axe toward my head.

"I shall save you poor gentleman!"

Something sliver shot past my eyes and landed square in the beast's head. I looked around to see a man with icy blue hair dressed in a noble's clothing. I nodded, thanking him and unsheathed my sword and began cutting down monsters.

Quickly ending the undead monster, I surveyed the area. 'Not much longer...' I thought to myself. I saw a mob of the undead surrounding Sully and some weird guy making goo-goo eyes at her with every safe moment he had. "Hold on, I'm coming!" I yelled out. I jumped above the mobs sinking my sword in one of the enemy's heads and casting it to the side. "Are you all alright" I asked slicing away at the stragglers. "Damn straight I am," Sully replied in her usual disrespectful speech and continued beheading her foes, "Why didn't you tell me about this, eh?!" I let out a soft sigh, "This was an unexpected battle not a planned one, Sully." I quickly parried a monster's attack and finished it off. "My dearest Sully, I have the most brilliant idea if I do say so myself!~" The noble-looking man chimed in and sniped away at the undead. "Spit it out already Virion!" she said. "Lift me onto your horse and I will take care of the rest. Oh! And Sir Chrom, please do take cover, I do not wish to graze you with an arrow or two." Virion boasted. I nodded and careful hid underneath Sully's prancing horse.

I quickly yanked Virion up on my horse and he gave me a quick but ugly smile and ascened into the air. I could see him quickly counting the foes surrounding us and unleashed a flurry of arrows above us. I watched as blackish-purple mist slowly us, only leaving arrows as their graves. "Captain Chrom, the coast is clear." I notified him. I saw him crawl out from underneath my horse and regaining his proper balance. "And now we have to wait on Frederick and the others to finish." The captain said and sheathed his Falchion.

Only a small handful of the demons remained on the battlefield, I rubbed my horse's head and we quickly began charging at them. A few with hand axes tried to thraught our advance but all were either deflected or gracefully evaded. I prepared my lance for demolition and just as I was ready to pierce one, a strange force made them line up, making my job easier. I charged through the demons, each fading away the moment I fully stabbed it's body till there were none left. I felt a strange breeze blow by and there I saw the con magician standing next to milday waving at me...until she elblow him. I nodded as a sign of thanks and went along to regroup with the others.

Lissa and I met up with the group as she checked the others for any injuries until a strange man appeared out of nowhere. "A battle that could've when horribly wrong had you have not been working together. It is no surprise that you all made it out unscathed, though...this is only a prelude and the worse is still to come." He gave a sharp look at me and disappeared into the crimson-colored forest. "What the heck was that about? Hey Marth! Come back!" Lissa called out. 'What the heck is right...who was that person...does he know of my past?' I looked at my dented sword and sighed.

"Foolish woman! Can you not see he's the one we're waiting for?!" The foggy purple man said. The strange woman stepped in front of me as if she was protecting me from something, "I told you hundred times, you won't take him away from me for your own dark, selfish desires!" She picked me up and carried me into the darkness. I felt the sand blow off my hood and brush against my face. "Do not fear my child...I promise you...you will not fall into the hands of the..." Her words strangely went mute and all I saw was the motion of her lips before she fell to the bloodstained sand.
