Chrom's PoV
As we stepped inside the area was coated with a light bronze color which slowly transcended to white as the light was brighter towards the center. From the ceiling to the arena groups were coated with beautiful designs which would be hard to look away from if you weren't. I felt something hit my shoulder as I looked over to see a boldly smiling Flavia. "Good luck out there, kid. I believe in you." She said and faded into the crowd.

Robin's PoV
Looking over our merry band of warriors, I contemplated on who to bring in since only six were allowed on our side. Somewhat unfair due to the opposing side having eight, however this was no difficult hurdle to for us.
'Hmm...having Chrom and Lissa is a must-have on the field. Sumia is still lacking in experience but she needs someone to back her up if she's in trouble...Vaike, Sully, Frederick, and Stahl have been in almost every battle. There's no REAL need for ranged attackers but it would be nice. Though there is one fighter that Chrom told me about. What was his name....?'
I looked around in front of myself for a bit and made a sharp turn to see if I could find him when...
"AAAGH!! What the heck?! I quickly found myself sitting on the hard ground, gripping my head. "Oh! I'm sorry! I guess you didn't see me..." I flinched at the mysterious voice as I gripped my sword. "Who's there?! Trying to sabotage to competition are you?!" I yelled out. "Wait! It's me, Kellam! I'm on your side!!" I tilted my head in confusion but then slowly a heavily armored knight became to materialize. "It looked like you were looking for me?" He said. With my mouth still petrified from astonishment, all I could do was nod. "I suppose I'll see you on the battlefield then." Kellam said and faded away. 'Gods...'
After a few moments of trying to comprehend what I just saw, I begun to finalize the teams. "Hey Robin, didja figure out who's coming on the team??" I heard Vaike ask me enthusiastically. I smiled and nodded, "Could you tell Chrom to round up the others?" He quickly nodded and darted off. I looked back to see what we would be up against. Fierce barbarians wielding sharpened axes, intelligent magicians wielding El tomes, and a man who I believed I've seen before. He wore blue leather armor with shining shoulder plates that had a flowing cape attached. His face was kept hidden from a mask that resembled a butterfly. I continued to duel with the thoughts of if he was unknown to me or not when I was interrupted by a voice calling my name.
"Robin!"
I turned to see Chrom beside me. "Have you decided who will partake in this battle?" I looked over to the rest of the Shepherds who were either instructing each other or fighting with one another. "It was a hard decision but I have. Hopefully they're all compatible." Scratching the back of my neck I replied wryly.
