"Milord, are you sure you wish to carry the front half? The back is lighter which should make it easier to walk." I asked Milord. "Frederick, I'm fine. Please don't baby me." He responded. "I am not babying sir, I am assuring the safety of you and milady." I made sure that I properly corrected him. "Lissa and Robin should have already set up the fire now. We should probably speed things up." Milord stated. "A wise accusation, perhaps I should carry the bear to make things faster." I suggested. He turned to me with a furrowed brow, "Are you sure you could handle this weight?" He asked. I nodded and pulled the front half off his shoulder. For some odd reason, Milord seem to be amazed that I could care an adult male bear on my shoulder.

"A-are you sure you can carry that just fine?" Milord asked. "I am perfectly fine, I thank you for showing concern though. Shall we press on?" I replied. Milord nodded and starting walking again. I wanted to put in the fact that the smell of this carcass was absolutely revolting but I could not let milord know. I could not let him worry. It was my duty to protect and serve him, no questions asked. "Oh look we're almost there, I'm sure you must be tired, ready to speed up a bit?" Milord turned toward my way with a faint smile.

We finally made it. I dropped the bear in a safe distance so I wouldn't hurt milord, milady, or that white-haired weasel. As the three of them, began to converse, I focused on the task of skinning this foul tasting beast.
