The moment we got there I knew this wouldn't be an easy fight, but the lives of citizens are at stake! "Milord, I suggest exercising caution, these warriors seem to be very seasoned in the field of close combat." Frederick warned me. "Thanks...I noticed that..." I muttered the last part to myself. "Did you say something milord?" his voice had an unusual suspiciousness to it. I swallowed hard, "O-oh nothing!~ I said sheepishly. "Looks like your cover's been blown maggot!!" A bandit jumped in front of me, his sword almost a hair's inch away from me. "Not on my watch!" Frederick pushed me aside, blocking the fatal blow. "Thanks Frederick!" I quickly said and made way towards that dastard, Garrick. On my way there, I was stopped by a burly-looking man wielding an axe. I jumped back before he could make and sudden moves. "Lower your sword. There's no need for senseless bloodshed!" I knew in the back of my head there was no point in reasoning with them, but I still had to try. The man attacked as if he didn't hear me, and threw a few unorganized slashes, I could see his face tainted malevolence. I dodged every strike with ease and hit his head with the back of my sword, knocking him out.

Frederick quickly joined my side afterwards, "Milord, are you unharmed?" He asked me. I nodded, "Lets just focus on getting this over with. Robin and Lissa should be finished with their business so we should be done by the time they reunite with us." Suddenly, something whizzed past my head.

Thunk!

I looked back to see a hand axe that landed in the ground. "Well well well, the little sheep actually manage to fend off the wolf! Too bad that won't last for long. Gwa ha ha ha haaa!!!" I heard a barbarian's voice from afar. "So, you must be the one commanding these forces then. Rally your men and cease this assault on these innocent people! Doing so I will spare your life...." I unsheathed my Falchion, "...But there's always and alternative."Garrick snickered a bit to himself and his dark grin grew wider, "Gwa ha ha! You think you can scare me?! You must be outta yer mind if you think I'm some run-of-the-mill warrior, sheepy!" I sighed heavily, I guess he wanted to go down as some kind of bandit hero or something. "Prepare yourself then!" I said. Frederick put his lance in front of me. "Perhaps I should take over for this fight, milord." Frederick started to nag me again. "Thank you Frederick but I think I can handle myself." I began to reassure him that I wasn't a child anymore. "Milord, I insist, you may be scathed or even worse." He decided to combat my statement. The very same statement I've been telling him for years. "Frederick, I can handle him." I snapped back. I suppose Garrick got tired of hearing our senseless bickering, so he threw two axes towards our heads. Of course we didn't notice because we were to busy trying to chose who got to finish the bandit leader. "Milord! Look out!" Frederick warned me, but it was already to late, the blade were so close, there wouldn't be enough time to dodge them without getting hurt. I closed my eyes, awaiting the pain to come.

"Now! Wind! "

I heard someone call out a spell name. When I opened my eyes, Garrick was pinned to the wall with his axes holding him down. He was utterly terrified. I looked back to see where the waves of magic came from, and there I saw him. His purple-black coat drifted in the wind and his snow white hair covered his eyes. He carried a faint smile on his face which somehow hinted a bit a wisdom in his aura. I saw Lissa standing behind him, looking as worried as ever. And then he spoke, "Have I arrived to late? I hope not." Robin said. Then I saw it, he was no enemy of Ylisse, but a protector of peace. Robin would make a great addition to the Shepherds. I walked up to Robin.

Lissa: Lucky for the town, we were close by. But holy wow, Robin! You were incredible! Swords, sorcery, AND tactics! Is there anything you can't do?

Chrom: You're certainly no helpless victim, that much is for sure.

Frederick: Indeed. Perhaps you might even be capable of an explanation for how you came here?

Robin: I understand your skepticism, Sir Frederick. And I cannot explain why only some knowledge has returned to me. But please, believe me. I have shared all that I know.

Chrom: You fought to save Ylissean lives. My heart says that's enough.

Frederick: And your mind, milord? Will you now heed its council as well?

Chrom: Frederick, the Shepherds could use someone with Robin's talents. We've brigands and unruly neighbors, all looking to bloody our soil. Would you really have us lose such an able tactician? Besides, I believe his story, odd as it might be.

Robin: Th-thank you, Chrom.

Chrom: So how about it? Will you join us, Avatar?

Robin: I would be honored.
