As I slept, I felt my head throbbing. It usually happens when something bad is about to occur...
"Gods, what in the world...?" I awoke, rubbing my aching head. I slowly rose to my feet and grabbed Falchion. I looked around to see if I had woke anyone up, in which I did.
"Yaaaaawn~ What are you doing Chrom...?" Lissa asked. "Hmm, just checking the area out...something doesn't seem right. Sorry to have woken you up by the way." Her demeanor quickly perked up, "Wh-what do you mean 'something doesn't feel right?'" I looked towards the abyss. "That's what I'm going to find out." I began walking towards the darkness. "Hey wait for me, only Naga knows what might be out there!" She quickly caught up to me. Frederick twitched an eyebrow in his sleep. I swallowed hard, SHHHHH...! I warned Lissa. She flinched at my sudden command and nodded.
At this point, we were nearing the heart of the forest. "Chrom...I'm not liking the feeling of this place...What happened to all of the animals that were chirping and squealing not to long ago?" Lissa had a point. Strangely enough, the whole forest went silent. What in Naga's name was going on?
RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
The ground violently started to shake beneath us. "Gah! What the hell is going on?! Stay close to me Lissa!" I ordered her.
