Robin's PoV

After the battle, Lissa treated Chrom, Vaike, and the Feroxi soldier's wounds. Once everyone was patched up, Raimi guided us to the khans throne as we waited for their return. The throne room looked similar to Ylisse's  except it had a distinct mood about the room that I couldn't put my finger on. The walls were decorated with weapons, medals and trophies; not to mention the finest armor that I've seen. There were torch stands that lit the throne and room and the carpet that stopped there was a beautiful scarlet red.

"Gods Sumia, that's twice you saved my hide today. Thanks a lot!" Chrom said. "Yea! You were awesome out there!" Vaike chimed in. I saw Sumia's cheeks and ears light up to a rosy pink as she was showered with compliments. I, on the other hand, was leaning up against a wall and reading "The Altean War Tactics." Quite a masterpiece if I say so myself. I saw a short, yellow figure approach me in the corner of my eye. "Hey Lissa," I looked up and smiled, "Great work out there." I saw her slightly hang her head low as her pigtails slightly covered her eyes, "Not really...I kinda got in your way didn't I?" she muttered. I tilted my head and made a puzzled expression, "What do you mean? You did great out there. Plus I had already calculated that there would be a chance in you getting noticed." I patted her head softly which caused her to jolt much to my surprise. Has she never been praised like that before? The princess looked up at me and gave me a bright smile, "Oh okay! Thank you so much Robin!~" She giggled and skipped away to rejoin the others. I grabbed a bookmark out of my pocket and carefully placed it within the old brown pages and closed my book. "Hmm...I wonder what the khan looks like. Perhaps a big, muscular man with hair popping out of his armpits...heheh..." I chuckled to myself as I made my way over to the rest of the Shepherds.

"Am I now?!" I shuddered a bit as I heard a female's voice bellow from afar. 'Oh gods...please don't let it be...' I turned to see a dark-skinned blond who wore scarlet and white armor. A huge shoulder plate obscured most of her right arm as her breastplate stopped at her hips meeting up with a black shirt that soon met up with her leg guards. I felt intimidation from her aura, no doubt she's the khan...'Oh damn me and my stupid mouth!' I quickly bowed and yelled, "Forgive me! I-I was just making and assumption and..." I felt something hard hit my shoulder as I winced in pain, "No harm done, many people make weird accusations before meeting a khan!" The woman laughed as she squeezed my shoulder. Good lord how strong is she?! She's literally crushing me! "The name's Flavia, as I am one of the khans." She let up on my shoulder and turned towards the group. I felt the sudden presence of Chrom next to me as he introduced himself, "I am Chrom, prince of Ylisse. It is an honor to meet you Flavia." She let out a small but generous smile as she placed her hands on her hips, "You'll have to forgive my border men. There have been many incidents of Plegians and brigands  impersonating royals and trying to bypass the Longfort."

The blue prince gritted his teeth, "What?! Damn them...Ah! F-forgive me. That was...indelicately put." Flavia quickly broke out into laughter again as Chrom and I tilted our heads in confusion. "Here in Feroxi, we don't believe in delicacy!" She said and patted Chrom's shoulder and winced slightly. "I-I see. Well you should have a word with your damn guards then." He hesitantly said. "There you go! Now, getting back on track, I was told by Raimi that you with to discuss matters involving the Plegians, no?"  Chrom nodded eagerly, "We have to ask for assistance from your army if you don't mind."

"I'm afraid I can't do that." The khan said bluntly. I raised a brow as I asked, "Why not, aren't you the kha-"

"I am ONE of the khans. My western counterpart now has power over Feroxi's men. Blasted oaf..." Flavia quickly interrupted me. A disappointed mood seemed to make it's way across the Shepherds until the silence was broken by Lissa, "Well isn't there a way we can change that?" Flavia quickly turned to Lissa and she flinched fearing that her shoulder would be demolished too, "Why yes there is! Every year there is a tournament held between us khans to determine who is the ruler. Though for years that westerly oaf has bested me again and again...but you people were strong enough to defeat my border guardians. Perhaps you would like to represent me?" Everyone looked up in interest as Chrom replied. "We'd loved to, though how come the khans are unable to participate?" Flavia's grin seemed to have sunk into a curious, but smug look, "You wanna see a blood feud boy?" she asked.

"Er...no...I don't."
