Chapter 3: Warrior Realm (4)

Lissa's PoV

I hurriedly ran up the icy stairs as I tried to catch up with Robin and Chrom through the frigid weather as quickly as I could. How can they be so fast?!

"TAKE A LESSON FROM TEACH YOU ARMORED FATTIES!" I heard Vaike's voice from afar as I heard a couple of men scream and jump off the fort. "Vaike, please restraint yourself from hurting everyone....!" I heard Virion say.

"I'm.....*gasp, wheeze*...finally here!! *Cough!*" I managed to squeeze out of my exhausted body. "Lissa! Stay out of enemy sight! It's to dange-" I interrupted Robin with an ear piercing scream as a Feroxi solider made his way over to me. "Heheh....I'll make this quick!" He said as he raised his lance. I closed my eyes and waited for my fatal injuries to be inflicted until I felt something wrap around me as I hit something hard and warm. I felt a strong breeze and sparks flutter across my cheeks as I opened my eyes slowly.  My cheeks heated up almost immediately as I noticed I was so close to Robin's chest!

"Are you unharmed? Sorry if I came to late..." He said. "O-oh...I'm fine!" I quickly replied as I separated myself from him. He smiled as his snowy white hair danced in the wind, such a strange color for a guy so young...but that's what makes him so handsome...

Kellam's PoV

'Hurtful. Painful. Disappointing,' I thought to myself as I sliced down each and every foe that crossed my path, 'Why won't anyone see me...? I'm wearing a giant piece of armor for crying out loud!'  I twirled my lance and knocked out another Feroxi solider that casually ran past me towards Chrom and Vaike. 'I can't let others take my spotlight though! I have to try harder!'

"WRRRAAAAGH!!" I let out my loudest battle cry as I charged towards a horde a foes. "Oh my god it's a ghost!!!" One of them screamed. "AIIEEEEEEE! I CAN HEAR IT'S FOOTSTEPS!" Another cried out. "Yo man, I'm gettin' the hell up outta here!" Chimed in another. And soon all of them vanished.

'....Why won't anyone notice me?'

Chrom's PoV

"HAAAAA!" I yelled as I cut down my foes one by one. I saw a an axe fly past my shoulder as the next one in line as struck. Vaike quickly took it out as I pointed my blade at the solider. "Where is your leader?" I asked. He pointed over to the miniature fort to my right. I nodded giving my thanks and gave Vaike the signal to press onward.

"Halt impostors!" I heard a female voice up ahead, "You dare intrude on Feroxi soil and kill my men?!"
Vaike stepped forward, "Lady, we didn't kill em', we either injured them or they ra-"

"QUIET!!" She yelled. "I, Raimi, defender of the Longfort challenge you to a dual!" She said and held her lance up readily. I swallowed hard as Vaike and I prepared ourselves.

The battle was a fierce one as metal clashed with one another until one side managed to get the advantage. Raimi parred Vaike's axe and pushed him down and countered my attack leaving my torso highly vulnerable. "And so this is your end, 'Prince Chrom of Ylisse!'" She drew back her lance and thrust it forward. I awaited the sight of blood staining the ground when I noticed snow white feathers in front of me.

"I hope I didn't miss out on too much Captain." Sumia said.
