"Let's see, thanks to Randy being no help at all, we've got the choice between Friday the 13th, Halloween II, and...Children of the Corn."

Mollicent Birist stood by the television with a grin on her lips as she watched Stu Macher throw his head back against the arm of the sofa and groan in annoyance. It was clear he wasn't very happy about their choices.

Molly held the movies in her hand and gestured toward them. "So, which one?"

Stu threw his hands up in the air. "None of them." He said, sounding disappointed.

Molly sighed and brought the movies down. "Aw, c'mon, Stu. Don't be like that."

"Friday the 13th doesn't even have Jason Vorhees in it yet-" Stu began, and Molly rolled her eyes, sitting down on the edge of the sofa next to him, preparing herself for one of his rants. " - and don't even get me started on the lousy plot. It's a classic, but lame. Children of the Corn isn't remotely scary, its just weird. Like it's a a bunch of kids running around killing adults and worshiping corn. Halloween II isn't really a different story. Yeah, its got some creative deaths, and the plots pretty good, but its basically just Jamis Lee Curtis running around a hospital practically naked with a fractured foot. Its basic. I could come up with that in my sleep."

Molly leaned over Stu slightly. "But I love Jamie Lee Curtis." She said sadly, sticking her bottom lip out in a fake pout.

Stu had been laying across the sofa with his on the arm rest, but he sighed and sat up to look at Molly fully. He smirked at her a little. "Well then Halloween II it is."

Molly smiled and stood up again. "Yes!"

Once the movie was in the player, and popcorn had been put on the stove, Molly and Stu sat together on the sofa, feet propped up on the coffee table. As the movie started and they watched the beginning credits play with the Halloween theme song, Molly became overly aware of how close she and Stu were sitting next to each other.
