They turned their attention back to the door as it creaked open again. With a gun in her hand, out stepped Debbie Salt, the wannabe reporter who'd been harassing Gale the past few days about the murders, when she in fact had been one of the killers herself. Gale thought it was a nice alibi, but she didn't know who this woman really was. But the four young survivors from Woodsboro knew. They knew all to well.
"Mom?" Billy whispered. His voice shook slightly, his eyes were wider and he was much paler than before.
Gale's eyes widened too, and she looked to Nancy Loomis in complete shock. "What?"
"Billy's mother!" Georgie laughed, thrilled with his own plot twist and sick family reunion. Nancy trained her gun closer to Gale, and the shocked reporter backed into the group also being held at gun point. "Nice little twist, huh? Granted, we weren't expecting her son to be part of the audience, but, hey! - I think it's more interesting this way, don't you?!"
"It can't be," Gale shook head and stared at Nancy. "I-I've... seen pictures of you."
Stu found himself shrugging. "Well, this is sixty pounds and a lot of work later."
"It's called a makeover." Said Nancy matter-of-factly, removing her coat and letting it fall to the floor. "You should try it. Look a little tired yourself, Gale."
"Mom..." Billy said again, shaking his head, as if he really didn't want to believe his mother was standing there with a gun in her hands. "Why...wh-what are you doing? Are you- are you working with them?" He looked back at Georgie and Mickey and then back to his mother. The look on his face said he knew the answer, though.
Mickey answered before Mancy could, and they all turned to him. "Yeah, well, had to have financing. Tuition's expensive." He nodded to the older woman across the group from him. "Billy, your mom there, she's our backer."
"We met on the internet." Georgie explained. "Psycho website - 's classified."
"There's only an estimated 97 active serial killers in the country today." Said Nancy, moving closer to the group of five with her gun, causing them to turn back to her. "So, Georgie and his boyfriend here were quite a find. Definitely on the way up - all they needed was a little guidance and nurturing-"
"-which only a mother can do." Molly finished, staring at Nancy with a stoney expression.
"Told you it was gonna work." Mickey laughed. "Right to the trial! It is gonna rock!"
"Oh, Mickey," Nancy lowered her gun and took a few steps forward, faking a look of disappointment. "There's not gonna be a trial."
Then in such a flash the others almost couldn't catch it, Nancy raised her gun again. The five who'd been crowded together at gun point either screamed or gasped as they pulled apart to either sides of the stage to avoid being hit by a bullet - Molly, Stu and Billy fell over one another and landed on the right, while Gale and Sidney did the same on the left. Nancy immediately fired at Mickey, first hitting him in the shoulder, then in the chest, and then in the stomach. As he fell against one of the pillars on stage for the play, he dropped his knife. Gale saw this and she tried to run for the fallen weapon, but Georgie was quicker. He fired his own gun at Gale, sending a bullet flying into her side, and she let out a pained cry and she fell over and toppled off the stage. The others called out her name as she fell with a crash.
Georgie lowered his gun and turned to Mickey's fallen form against the pillar. He walked over to him and stared down at his bleeding body.
Mickey was barely able to look up at his partner. "George...ie..." he sputtered out.
