Midway through Sociology - one of the only two classes that Molly and Stu didn't share - the whole class was interrupted from their work when Principal Himbry's voice crackled over the intercom above them.

"I need your attention now, kids." The principal sounded very annoyed. "Due to the recent events that have occurred, effective immediately, all classes are suspended until further notice." A bunch of the kids sitting around Molly looked over at each other and cheered. Molly just sat there listening with a blank face. "The Woodsboro Police Department has issued a city-wide curfew beginning at nine o'clock tonight." The teen's cheers turned into groans of disappointment.

As soon as there was a cackle of the speaker that indicated that Himbry had ended the announcement, everyone in the class jumped from their seats, yelling to their friends, and started filing out of the class excitedly. Molly was slower in her movements of packing up and getting to the door, and therefore heard their teacher shouting after them to do their classwork while they were out.

The hallways were a chaotic mess that made Molly slightly claustrophobic. It was jam-packed and extremely loud - just like on the last day of school when everyone is eager to run out the doors and go home.

Molly had to physically pry students away from each other to make it to her and Sidney's locker where they were supposed to meet up after class. After shoving all of her school books back inside, she looked around for the faces of her friends, but didn't see them due to the continuous flood of students.

"Molly!"

At the sound of her voice being called over the wild chattering of the school, Molly turned around, seeing the familiar face of Billy Loomis pushing his way towards her.

"Bill, hey." Molly said. She gave him a quick hug of relief when he reached her. She stared at him when she let go. "You know what's going on?" She asked, regarding the sudden suspension of school.

Billy shrugged. "Couple guys dressed as the killer, I think. Himbry got pissed and expelled them."

Molly raised her eyebrows and looked around as the biggest clog of students started leaving. "Damn. I guess people can't take a joke around here..." She turned back to Billy. He looked disheveled and tired - probably because he'd been held at the station the whole night. It made Molly extremely upset that he had been there for no reason. "I'm glad you're back, Billy. And I'm glad that you weren't - y'know...the killer...or anything..."

Billy huffed. "Yeah...seems like you and Stu are the only ones who are."

Molly crossed her arms anxiously and bit the inside of her lip. "Did you...talk to Sidney yet?"

Her friend nodded. "Yeah. Sort of. I pissed her off though." Molly furrowed her eyebrows, silently asking for more. "Its just, she hasn't been the same since last year when...y'know..."

Molly sighed quietly. "Well, her mom died, Billy. Like, brutally. Of course she's not gonna be the same. And especially with the one year anniversary of it coming up tomorrow, and all this shit happening right now...she's gonna need time."

Billy nodded. "Yeah, I know...When I was talking to her earlier, I said shit I realized I shouldn't have. I think I really fucked it up." His eyes shifted down to the floor.

It made Molly upset seeing one of her bestfriends this way. She may not have been dating Billy anymore, but she still cared for him deeply. "She just needs time." She repeated. Billy just nodded. Molly inhaled. "Um, I don't know if he's told you yet, but Stu and I planned a party at his place tonight. For my birthday. And to get everyone's minds off the whole...Ghostface, psycho-killer thing..."
