"Oh, Jesus, I don't even remember the last time I wore heels." Groaned Molly as she sat on the edge of her bed, leaning over to slip her feet into a pair of painful heels. "Guess it had to have been the Halloween party they threw last year."
"Well maybe you should start wearing them more." Suggested Natalie from where she was laying in her own bed, flipping through a magazine full of pictures of Tom Cruise and James Franco. "They make you taller, and God knows you could do with a bit of height."
Molly sat up and sighed with an expression on her face that said 'seriously?' "Okay, Natalie." She said sarcastically as she stood up from her bed and walked over to the vanity mirror. "I can't believe I got talked into this." Molly muttered to herself as she touched up her makeup. "You got any plans tonight, Nat?" Molly asked her roommate.
"Yeah, they're not that interesting, though." Natalie tskd. "I'm going over to Omega Beta soon to keep Cici company. All her girls are out and it's her turn to be sober sister."
Molly nodded as she reached for her jacket on their closet's door handle. "Okay, well have fun. I'll see you in the morning, probably." She pulled her jacket over her arms and headed for the door.
Not taking her eyes off the magazine, Natalie waved her roommate goodbye as she opened the door. "Bye, Molls- Oh, wait!"
Molly paused at the door. "What?"
Natalie was pointing at her with a knowing look. "Do not even think about doing the keg." She said sternly. "Because I'm not cleaning up after you and your hangover in the morning."
Molly rolled her eyes. "You're not my mom." She muttered, before stepping out the room and closing the door.
Natalie shook her head. "Idiot."
She turned her head as the telephone sitting on her nightstand started ringing. Sighing, Natalie set her magazine down and picked up the phone.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hello?" Responded a deep, gravelly male voice.
Natalie furrowed her eyebrows. She didn't recognize his voice. "Who is this?" She asked.
"You tell me."
Huffing, Natalie smirked slightly. "Ted, is that you? What are you calling for? You sound drunk."
"I'm very sober," Said the caller. "And I'm also very not Ted."
Natalie didn't buy it, and laughed quietly. "Druuunkkk." She said sing-songly. She sighed as she glanced at the clock on her nightstand. "Look, I gotta go, Ted. I'm going over to Omega Beta, so maybe you can call me there" she grinned slightly. "Cici's gonna be there with me."
"Oh, is she?" Asked 'Ted.'
"Yep. I gotta go. Talk later." Natalie hung up the phone and set it down.
