James stumbled forward. Grabbing on to Regulus for balance.

"Why are you always hiding up here? Come onnnn Reggieeee. Come down and have a little fun." Regulus pushed him off, and James fell forward before catching his balance again.

"Well, you're right pissed aren't you?" James turned his head and looked at him.

"W- how'd you know?" he got close to Regulus leaning in to whisper, "Are you a seer? Seers scare me. It's bloody weird. Nobody should know that much. " James was absolutely sloshed. Regulus pushed him off again, and he wobbled in place. It was a wonder how James even got to the tower. He seemed to be a clumsy drunk.

Well, Regulus wondered how he himself got to the tower. By the time he left the common room, he was well passed buzzed.

James abruptly fell to the floor, legs spread out across the floor. Regulus found himself teetering a bit, merlin. How drunk was he?

he noticed the way James's hair was lit by the moonlight, he was so fucking beautiful. It was really irritating. Wasted, he decided, he was absolutely wasted.

He wouldn't  have been able to stand James if he wasn't at least slightly enibriated

James started singing something unfamiliar he lifted his head off the ground to look up at Regulus,

"You know Bowie?" He asked Specht slightly slurred. Regulus knew the name. But he couldn't place it.

"He's a muggle, bloody magic he is, I have a few records," James explained.

"You have records?" Regulus asked, surprised.

"Course I do, love muggle music, I wouldn't expect you to know about those though" Regulus was suddenly reminded how bad it would be if his mother were to find out he had something of muggle origin.

He suddenly became aware that he wasn't playing the perfect pureblood son, but he realized that when it came to James, he really didn't care. Regulus, for one of only a handful of times, was being Regulus, drunk, but non the less, himself

"Can't really listen to mine in Slytherin, though." He said laughing.

"It'd get back back to mother, and she would be all, swish, swish, swish," Regulus drug his arm through the air, matching perfectly the form of his mother.

"Come to Gryffindor anytime, I'll let you listen there," James said quickly, standing back up.

Perhaps a but too quick, he promptly turned green and leaned over the rail as he spewed over the edge. Regulus stepped forward to grab him so he wouldn't fall.

"All right, Potter, let's get you back to the tower, yeah?" Regulus was pushing him forward from behing, practically holding him up. James looked up at Regulus and gave him a small smile.

"Aww thanks Reggie" Merlin, this was going to be a long night.

To this day, Regulus didn't know how he had gotten James down from the tower. He was still feeling the effects of his all too strong drink. He hadn't even gotten a smoke in. He sighed at the loss.

It took almost 40 minutes to walk James back to Gryffindor, Regulus had worn off his alcohol by then, but James still seemed properly intoxicated.

Regulus had half dragged him back, expecting to deposit him with another Gryffindor. But there was not one Gryffindor in sight.

So, Regulus drug James up the stairs to his dorm.

"Reg,"

"Regulus"
