Seonghwa awoke one morning to a soft knock on his door, moaning softly he rolls over to face it, "Come in," he softly said, wrapping an arm around his son sleeping peacefully.
The door opens quietly, Yeosang peeking his head through, "Hey, do you mind coming and helping me with breakfast? Wooyoung and San are... tied up. And Hongjoong sleeps like the dead."
Seonghwa stretches, sitting up carefully to not disturb Minjun before he yawns, "Absolutely, be right there."
"Thank you!" Yeosang smiles, "After breakfast you can go right back to sleep, I promise. I don't think Mingi has a whole lot on the schedule for us."
Seonghwa smiles, crawling out of bed after barricading Minjun in blankets and pillows so the baby won't roll all over or off the bed. His pacifier wiggles in his mouth as he suckles, but he still continued to sleep. Seonghwa places a soft kiss to his chubby cheek before slipping out of the room with the other omega. He made sure to keep the door opened though, just in case he were to wake up and needing a diaper change or to nurse.
Once they enter the kitchen, Yeosang began pulling out ingredients and laying them on the clean countertop, humming softly, "I figured we would just make the simple biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, and eggs. I know Mingi would be so excited about it he loves biscuits and gravy, well I should say everyone does but Mingi asks for it a lot."
"What's that?" Seonghwa asks, never really heard of the kind of meal the younger was talking about.
"Biscuits and gravy?" Yeosang frowns, tilting his head, "You never had it back at your old pack?"
Seonghwa bites his lip, shaking his head, "No... most of our meals were healthy meals. Lots of fruits, oatmeal, eggs and bacon. But I have never heard of this."
Yeosang smiles, "Well, not to brag, but I make the best biscuits and gravy in the world," he winks, walking over to the cabinet and pulling out pots and pans for the preparation, "It's actually the first meal I made for Jongho when we started courting."
Seonghwa didn't miss the look Yeosang gave him and blushes, "So.. I can consider this a courting gift to Mingi?"
"You could, but I think it doesn't really count unless you make the whole meal by yourself," Yeosang chuckles, sighing softly, "I remember when I did this I woke up at three in the morning preparing everything. By the time everyone woke up I had everything sat down on the table, the mess cleaned, and I was exhausted."
Seonghwa purses his lips, biting the inside as he looked began helping Yeosang cook, "I haven't done anything for him yet."
Yeosang froze, looking over at him as if he had been slapped in the face, "What?!"
"I-I don't know what to do-"
"Seonghwa you cannot just accept the courting gifts and not give any yourself!" Yeosang hisses, shaking his head, "Oh my god. Okay, so how many gifts has Mingi given you so far?"
"About two or three?"
"Jesus! Three?!" Yeosang huffs, running a hand through his hair, "What were they?"
"W-Well he gave me a wolf charm with a key he made for the house on it. That was the first gift he gave me. The second gift he gave me was a soft blanket that I could share with Minjun. And the third he brought me these pretty blue flowers he picked in the field. I have them pressed in a book-"
"Okay, listen closely to me," Yeosang nods, "Okay? I'm going to give you some very crucial advice Hwa."
"Oh, sure! I need all the help I can get," Seonghwa nervously laughs, "I had no idea what to do for him."
