Light Switch

The door opens to the two omegas as they enter Mingi's cabin. Immediately, fairy lights and the smell of his alpha over take his senses and he is in awe. It was exactly how he had pictured it to be. Minimal decor, which will change over time of course, a large, well made bed taking up most of the room with blankets and pillows. Photos of a young Mingi with his parents on the bedside table with a simple lamp, and the sight made him smile.

And above their bed, the flower crowns Seonghwa has made for them as their courting gift. They were pressed thin, but were still intact, very dry too. The frames Mingi had them in were keeping them together and keeping them pressed flat. The sight of them made Seonghwa's heart flutter.

"Oh!! There they are! I was wondering what Mingi had done with them!" Wooyoung smiles, "That's a perfect idea and place where he put them."

Seonghwa hums, looking around the cabin to admire the rest of what was his mate's safe haven during his ruts. The furniture matched nicely together, however a lot of decoration has been added recently with white tulle and lace, balloons, and some food on the counter in the connective kitchen.

"Surprise!!" Two voices yell out suddenly.

Seonghwa turns to see Hongjoong and Yeosang with both of their arms in their air, and smiles on their faces. Seonghwa chuckles, "The place looks wonderful! Please tell me you didn't spend all day doing this."

"Well only half a day," Hongjoong laughs, "We made some of our special snack dishes for tonight, and tomorrow's breakfast. And we also tried to add some of your blankets to the bed so that way your scent was incorporated as well."

"Yeah I think Mingi's old rut scent is way too strong for it to even be touched by Seonghwa's scent," Yeosang comments, wrinkling his nose.

"Well after the ritual and their first night here, it'll be different," Wooyoung giggles, gesturing to the bed, "This is where you will sleep obviously! We are going to make a sleeping bag pallet in the floor, we don't want our scents to compromise with yours in Mingi's cabin!"

"Are you sure?" Seonghwa frowns, "You guys can sleep in the bed! Don't worry about the floor please!"

"No, no that's okay! That's tradition!" Hongjoong holds his hands up, "We're totally okay with it. To be completely honest, we didn't even put up the decorations..." he bites his lip nervously, "The alphas normally do. Mingi did all of this for you."

"Really?" Seonghwa melts, looking around the cabin and taking in the balloons and the white party decorations that look like belong to a pre wedding party. He smiles as he finds a photo hanging by the bed of Mingi and Seonghwa in the snow, watching over Minjun who was playing with the snow ducklings.

"Who took that photo?" Seonghwa asks, walking over to it and smiling at the perfect view of his future mate and his son.

"I did," Wooyoung hums, "It was too cute not to capture. I was watching you guys in the window of the kitchen when I was washing our dishes after we had breakfast in our room."

Seonghwa smiles, touching the frame gently, "I love it. Thank you for capturing a beautiful moment."

"Well of course," Wooyoung smiles, "Now! Shall we... open a bottle of wine?" He smirks, turning to look at the others.

Seonghwa chuckles, "Sure, I'm ready to party! I've never actually had one, so I'm excited."

"Okay okay," Hongjoong breaks up the laughter as he stands and stumbles to the pile of presents, "It's time to FINALLY open the gifts we got for you!"

"Oh! You guys," Seonghwa pouts, putting his hand on his heart, "You seriously didn't have to get me anything!"
