It took years before the SMP realised there was something wrong. They had created another country and yet. No one came to stop them. At first they thought people just didn't know about it but then it grew, it became famous. More than l'manburg ever was. And yet still no sign of Technoblade. It was like he had vanished. Oh, but if they realised how close they were to the truth.
After a point Tommy started thinking what if Techno just gave up on all the anarchy stuff But it was techno for heavens sake he just wouldn't. It was something he held too close to his heart to give up on.
So, he got Wilbur to go to Technoblade and Philza. Tommy could have gone. He would have. But that would increase the chance of something bad happening. Plus Phil loves Wilbur. He would never do anything to him, especially after the trauma that he endured the last time. So Wilbur went to the antarctic, all the way to the shared cottage which looked Dead. It looked as if no one had been here in hundreds of years and is just surviving.
Wilbur walked up to the door petrified, I mean who wouldn't be his dad was supposed to live there, but it just looked like a shell of a place that was left behind. He finally opened the door to see a clean house. It looked as if it was somewhere someone was living in totally contrary to the outside. He wandered through the building and the walls were exactly the same as when he lived there years before. Finally he came across his dad's bedroom, he opened the door to find a frail man he would like to call his dad reading a book titled 'The Song Of Achilles', one of Technoblade's favourite books.
"Dad...?" Wilbur said, well it came out almost as a whisper but Phil's head shot up anyways, he was so lost in the words in the book to have even heard his son show up.
"Wilbur? what are you doing here? go back home" Phil says, his voice hoarse from not talking to people since the accident 3 years ago.
"Dad what happened? Tommy asked me to come because he was worried about you and Technoblade" Wilbur answers picking up on how tense his father got when brought up his best friend's name.
"HAH, you thought you could trick me? Technoblade is gone! He will not be coming back, tell your little friends to pack up and leave me alone" Phil screams "please that is all i ask of you my son" He adds in a pleading manner.
"Dad, where did Techno go?" Wilbur asks. He wanted to believe that he had just gone on an adventure and his dad just decided to stay. But he knew that wasn't the truth, of course it wasn't Techno would never leave Phil behind. He just wouldn't.
"Technoblade? Oh he left years ago. He couldn't take it anymore, It was around Snowchester i think" Phil responded quietly. He wished he didnt have to say it he couldve helped Techno but he was too late.
"What.... no! no! he's around here somewhere he wouldn't he's supposed to be immortal, right?" Wilbur grew up with Techno he was like a second dad after his mum had passed. Phil knew what would happen when Wilbur found out, he knew the way Wilbur would look and the way his knees would wobble as he tries to steady himself. He knew he should have told Wilbur years ago, but he couldnt. He couldn't bare to look at Wilbur after seeing his lifeless eyes and Technoblade's lifeless eyes they looked too similar.
"Wilbur, I'm sorry but he's dead" Phil spoke firmly before Wilbur caved sobbing uncontrollably. I mean why wouldn't he? That was his uncle, his second dad. What would he tell Tommy? After all no matter what Tommy and Techno went through together Tommy still loved him, he was his dad for heavens sake.
"Im sorry Will i know i should have told you sooner i just didn't know how to. im so sorry" Philza told Wilbur. It was true, every word of it but that didnt mean that he should need to say it.
"D-dad it's alright. Trust me it's fine he was your best friend," Wilbur tells Phil "But, does Tommy know?" He asks.
"Of course not! How do you tell your godson that his dad fucking killed himself?" Phil yells angrily, not directed towards Wilbur but at the world for taking his best friend away. "and it partially be his fault"
