"I'd rather be physically
Hurt than emotionally
Because you can put
A band-aid on your
Finger, but you can't
Put one on your heart"

I exited Weston's office just as Preston was about to come in. He looked confused as to why I was here, so I responded before he could ask, "I needed help with some AP Math homework, so he offered to help."

Preston smiled and nodded, and just as he was about to enter, I asked, "Hey Preston, what is your middle name?"

"Elijah. Why are you asking?" Preston asked. "Well, since someone-" I glared at Nick's office where he was working "- was making fun of your nickname, I am giving you a new one. How about Lijah or Eli?" I asked.

He chuckled and said, "I like it. Now I have to go before Weston kills me," he said and rushed inside.

I slightly giggle, seeing his running figure before turning around. As I was about to head to my room, I bumped into Chris.

"Hi," I said, smiling. "Where you headed?"

"Um, I was just about to head to my room to study for the upcoming exam." Christian didn't study at the same college as my brothers. He decided to pursue his business degree at Cornell, where he was accepted with a full scholarship.

"I was just headed to my room. Let's go together," I suggested. He agreed before we both went to the wing where all our rooms were.

"How is the studying going?"

Chris shrugged lightly. "It's alright. A bit challenging, but I think I'm getting the hang of it."

"I'm sure you'll do great," I said.

"Thanks."

I dropped him to his room before I headed to mine and jumped on my bed before I took out my phone.

I opened my chats and started texting Travis. It has been eight days since we met, and we have gotten really close in those days. Because of this, I now barely spend time with the others. I do miss the idiots a lot and try to stay in contact, but it doesn't happen sometimes and needs to be done.

Me:

Hey Travis! What are you doing?

Travis:

Hey Ari! Nothing, I was just planning to ask you about something.

Me:

Sure! What do you need?

Travis:

A new café opened up. Wanna go there to hang out?
