"You've been snooping around my stuff, that's clear." I said. Lily scoffed. "No I wasn't!" She denied. This was the breakfast conversation today before I supposedly talk to her about a Scamander twin knowing her secret. CJ smirked. "Then where did you get that shirt?" She asked. Lucy nodded in agreement. "Yeah. It doesn't seem like something you'd wear." She said. Lily turned and smiled innocently. "My clothes were being washed so I needed to borrow a roommate's." She lied. I returned the gesture. "Yeah. You've been snooping through my things." I said. She huffed irritatingly. "I wasn't going through your things!" She growled. Roxanne scoffed and laughed. "Lily, you're the princess of sneakiness. It's in the Potter DNA." She added. She fake giggled. "Nice for you to know me so well Roxie." She said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes annoyedly. "All I know is you better return my shirt before I hide my stuff where you can't picture it." I sassed. Lily hummed in response. "Aright. I'll put it back...once I'm done using it." She said, smirking at the last part. CJ low-key snickered. This girl thinks I'm joking around. But I'm not in the mood for games. Especially when I'm trying to help her with this gargoyle situation. I scoffed and smiled deviously. "Ok, Firecracker. Luckily I'm not in a Space Jam mood. Got too much to think about. My music, maybe my next movie- Roxanne cut me off. "Wait! It reminds me of this new Annie movie that's coming out after summer. We all should come see it with Hugo and Louis." She mentioned. I find it hilarious she doesn't have any clue I'm the new Annie. Lily smiled. "Annie is so me! At least a redhead Annie." She joked. Lucy snickered. "How? You're not ten years old and happened to be adopted by a rich guy." She joked. I nodded in disagreement while fake smiling. "No, but she sure act like one." I said through gritted teeth. She rolled her eyes. CJ giggled and smiled. "You'd be surprised. River's portraying the new Annie!" She told them. Their eyes widened including Lily. Not my first reaction I get. Lucy smiled widely. "Is it true?! You're the new Annie?" She squealed. I laughed and nodded. "Yup. Look at the trailer and you'll see. You'll see lots more later." I said. Lily giggled uncontrollably. I looked at her weirdly. Usually, I'd find her laugh rather nice but towards me? Different story. CJ raised an eyebrow oddly. "What's funny Lily?" She asked. She kept chuckling. "Sorry. It's hard to believe you'd audition to be a ten year old?" She giggled. Roxanne sighed. "Lily..." She trailed off. "And the twosome battle begins." Lucy whispered in CJ's ear. She nodded in agreement. Lily smiled amusedly and shrugged. "Someone as hardcore, stand-offish and sentimental about her jacket plays a carefree little girl?" She asked. I returned the gesture. "I'm a woman of many parts." I quoted. They looked at me confusedly in shock. "What?" CJ blurted. I fake smiled. "Just a quote from Downton Abbey. You must be familiar with it cause you really give me Lady Mary vibes." I said. Lucy covered her mouth in a chuckle. CJ low-key snickered. Lily crossed her arms sassily. "I'm nothing like her. Don't compare me to her." She said angrily. I fake laughed, pointing my fork at her. "Look who's talking? You joke I portrayed a little girl which is impressive considering I'm above age then you get mad cause you don't like being compared to a rich girl." I said. Roxanne facepalmed her forehead. "Blimey." She mumbled. Lily growled. "Because I'm not like those girls River. I only said one harmless thing and you get mad so fast like last time. You're so ill-tempered that you can't take a joke." She sassed. The girls watched silently since this is getting intense by the moment. That made me drop my fork madly. "Last time, I told you it's not your business whether I get mad or in fact insensitive. You pulled the strings first by joking about my career so I pull the strings cause you pulled first. No offense little red but you need to watch your mouth carefully." I growled. She scoffed and returned the gesture. "You need to watch yours." She sassed. Roxanne cleared her throat. "Ok! Guys, guys- I cut her off. "Don't tell me what to do baby Potter. I'm doing you a favor. You think I'm sentimental about my jacket? Well someone keep snooping around my things however she like to and not asking my permission like a normal person! Don't twist it around while you're still burning my shirt! Ceej, I need to leave this table. She's pressing my buttons and it's already down to number two. Number three's a one-way ticket to-CJ cut me off. "River! River! Chill. Relax. Relax. Chill. Please." She said in a soothing voice. I inhaled a deep breath and got up from the table. Roxanne looked at me concernedly. "River! River, where are you going?" She asked. I looked at Lily and huffed. "With any luck, somewhere I don't see anyone wearing my stuff." I growled before walking out of the hall. Lily's stunned expression didn't leave her face. Surprisingly, a tear was fighting to shed from her eyes. Lucy patted her shoulder. "Lily- She cut her off by getting up and leaving.
