I stood in the balcony of the palace I apparently now live in

It had a decent view of the Vanilla Kingdom

In the distance, I heard cookies going on about how Cursed Crystal is their 'lOrD aNd SaViOr'

I scoffed

"Cookies" I muttered

"I used to like them. Now, not so much" I continued 

I sighed and walked back inside

'I'll never forgive that stupid knight commander'

'I'll never let myself get tricked by a cookie EVER again.'

"Are you alright dear? You seem a bit.. Sad" I heard String Gummy asked

"I'm fine. There's just a lot on my mind" I muttered

"Is it because of.. You know"

"..You can say his name y'know"

"Oh. Is it because of Madeleine?"

"Yeah. I just hate him so much"

"I get it.."

It was silent for a bit

"I have to go to work. I'll see you later" String Gummy said

"Alright" I said

We kissed, then String Gummy left

I went over to my throne and sat on it

I put my tail on my lap 

'I kinda like having my dragon features revealed.. Why did I even hide them when I was in the kingdom..'

•·.·A couple hours later, Madeleine's POV·.·•

I was doing my usual knight commander things when I kept thinking about the.. Incident 

'It's a shame I couldn't follow his orders.. Oh well. I was forgiven'

'Part of me feels bad.. No no, that's nonsense. Following Cursed Crystal's orders should be put first' (boy stfu this is why you have no partner)

'Though I do wonder where Espresso went. They just straight up disappeared after attacking me'

I was thinking about everything when I remembered that I gave Madeleine a pretty bad burn mark

I chuckled a bit

'He deserved it. I wonder if he still has it'

'Oh idea!'

•·.·Lavender's POV·.·•

I was doing my normal duties when Espresso came up to me

"Heyy, so you know Madeleine?" They asked

"Mhm" I hummed

"Could you do me a favor and go into the Vanilla Kingdom? Look for Madeleine and tell me if he has a burn mark on his face"

"Alright"

Then I left

Eventually, I got to the kingdom and started looking for Madeleine

'I wonder why Espresso wanted me to check if he had a burn mark.. Actually, probably to make fun of him. They've done that before'

When I found Madeleine, I saw that he indeed had a burn mark

I chuckled a bit, then he noticed me

'Oh for fucks sake'

"Hm, haven't seen you around" He said

"I'm simply visiting someone" I lied 

"Ah" 

Then I walked away

When I was sure Madeleine couldn't see or hear me, I started laughing

When Lavender got back, she looked at me

"He still has that burn mark" She smiled

I giggled

Lavender giggled as well

"He looked stupid" She sneered

"He IS stupid" I said

"Yeah I can tell"

'I actually kinda like this.. Maybe becoming evil isn't as bad as I thought it was..'
