Chapter 23: The Morning After.

Whisper pov:

I wake up cuddling with Y/N, we're both naked, and I feel really warm. The memories of what happened last night begin to come back to me. The things we did. Do I regret it?

Nope, not at all!

I slowly get out of Y/N's grasp, and look at him. He's smiling widely. I smile and head to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror. Good lord my hair is a mess. I quickly get in the shower and think about what's next for me and Y/N. We should go on a real date, to a nice restaurant! I wonder what he would like... I get out of the shower and dry off, brushing my hair. As I do, I wonder how Y/N would like it if I left my hair down.

I decide to leave it as it is and go back into my room. As I open the door I see the wisps laughing above Y/N. I feel my face warm up as I realize that I forgot the wisps were in their capsules, on my cloak, that was in the room while me and Y/N were at it.

Great.

The wisps float to me quickly, chatting in their language. I lean back a bit so their not so close, then walk to my nightstand and grab my mask, putting it on. At first they're all laughing, then I hear Pink speak first. "You looked the most happy I've seen you in ages!" "Yea, I've never heard you that loud!" Cyan says in response. "S-shut up... I needed it!" I say as I get dressed. I notice that Blue looks a bit upset. "What's wrong buddy?" I sit next to him.

"I'm still thinking about how you got infected... why would you do that?" I remember what happened, and I feel a bit of regret. "I'm sorry Blue, I just... can't live without him..." He looks at me, "Maybe you should train with him more, so he'll get better." I feel my brain hatch an idea. "Yea, maybe I should, I don't want to lose him again..." Green suddenly floats up beside me. "Are you gonna tell him? About how you turned?" I think on it. "No, I won't... he doesn't have to know, it'll just bum him out."

After a bit more talking, the wisps go into their capsules to sleep, and I wake up Y/N. "Wake up sleepyhead..." He slowly wakes up. "Morning beautiful!" He cheerfully wakes up and gets dressed, and we go to get some breakfast.

We see Tangle and a few of Y/N's friends waiting in line to get some too. We wait with them, and eventually we get our food, and we all sit together. We sit in silence, until Tangle finally speaks.

"So, was the sex good?"

Y/N's friends fall out laughing. I blush, while Y/N laughs as well. "I-it... was..."
Y/N interrupts me.

"It was great!"

Y/N's friends laugh more. "Such confidence in your answer!" I blush even more. "C-can we please not talk about this while we're e-eating?" Thay talk amongst themselves, and we all eat quickly. Y/N's quiet friend proceeds to tell him about something, while I think about what to do about training him. I feel myself getting a bit angry at him, I don't know why, it wasn't his fault, but I'm kind of upset with him.

I should teach him about stealth, how to properly use each and every wispon, and hand to hand combat, just in case. I set my heart on this plan, and suddenly stand up, grabbing Y/N's hand, dragging him with me. He hurriedly turns around and looks to the others, waving goodbye. "Where are we going?" "We're going to train." He smiles weakly. "Alright, I am a bit rusty, wouldn't hurt to polish off my skills" I smile back.

"It's going to be a bit harder than that."

"What do you mean?" I look at him, pure sternness in my face. "I'm going to make sure you can defend yourself with whatever you have, I'm going to make sure I never lose you again..." He looks a bit nervous. "Whisper, I'm still a bit sore from the-" "Please Y/N! Please... I need to have this peace of mind, you mean so much to me. Losing you... broke me..." He thinks for a second, then looks up. "Fine, but don't expect 110% for a few days." I smile to him, happy. "Thank you!" I continue dragging him to the training room, thinking all the time. "I won't lose anyone else, I won't fail again, I will be better..." "You know your speaking now, right?" I blush, and squint my eyes at him. "Shut up... c'mon."

My point still stands, I will be better, I will save him...
