Valentines Day Special!

Whisper pov:

Y/N and I have been together for nearly two years now, and we've loved each other every day ever since. He's started going on missions all by himself, leaving me with just myself and the wisps. This time, he's been gone for a week, and I've missed him a lot. I know he's ok since I've been texting him a lot, but it's just not the same!

Since we left the Restoration and started roughnecking it, we've saved up enough money to buy ourselves a small house, it's nothing huge, but I love it all the same. It's cozy, comfy, and protects from the elements, and that's really all you can ask for.

Right now, I'm sitting on the couch, looking at social media on my phone. I had to go to town for groceries earlier, something I really didn't want to do. It's ok though, I can relax now. I've been hoping that Y/N would get back before long. He's only been gone for a week, but it feels like months. Even with the wisps here, I feel so lonely. I've mainly just been playing video games and watching TV to distract myself, but as the week goes on its not working too well anymore.

It's ok, he'll be here. he'll be back soon, i know he will! My prsyers are answered when I see he's texted me, telling me he'll be back in a couple of hours. I literally jump for joy and cheer when I see that, I'm so happy to see him again.

"YES!"

The wisps come out of their room, looking confused. Cyan starts speaking, so I put on my mask and look at him. "Could you say that again, please?" "What's got you so happy?" I look at him, bouncing up and down in excitement. "Y/N's on his way back!" They immediately perk up, especially Green. "Really?" "Yea! Oh, I need to get ready for him!"

I immediately rush into the bedroom, and look through my wardrobe, looking for something nice to wear. I see Green in the corner of my eye. "What are you doing?" "I'm looking for something nice to wear!" She looks confused. "Why?" "I need to look good for him!" "He thinks you look good in everything." I suddenly stop and think about what I'm doing. I then laugh quietly and look at Green. "Look at me... we've been together for so long, and I'm still stressing over what to wear, like it's the first date."

I suddenly feel Green hug me. "It's Ok, we know how much you love him, and we do too." I hug back with one arm. "Thanks..." I suddenly realize I haven't showered in two days. "Oh... I should probably shower..." Green looks at me, an amused look on her face. "Well, at least I don't have a nose to smell it with." I giggle a bit at the remark, and I walk towards the bathroom.

I step into the bathroom, and strip down, stepping into the shower, turning it on and feeling the warm water wash over me. As the shower goes on, I imagine
Y/N's arms wrapping around me. Even though one of his arms is mostly metal, I've learned to love it. I love it so much...

After a while I get out of the shower, dry off, and make sure to put on some decent looking clean clothes, and a really nice perfume I found on sale while I was shopping.

I still feel the need to impress him, even after all this time.

I lay on the couch, and look at his text. He texted back an hour ago, so he should be here soon! I wait very impatiently, eventually I lay down on the couch and watch TV. I turn the channels until I find a really cheesy romantic comedy. I never was one for romance, but I've kind've changed my opinion in that regard.

I guess Y/N has changed me in a lot of ways... most of them for the better, he's made me more confident, more happy, and much more loved! I'm snapped out of my thoughts as I hear a loud knock on the door. I jump up, hoping to see Y/N, I'm a bit disappointed as i see Tangle in the doorway. Sure I'm happy to see her, but i really wanted to see Y/N. "Hey Whisper! You doing ok?" I move aside and let her in.
