Y/N pov:
I wake up in a dark void, I can't see anything. I look around and see a figure in the distance, glowing white. Not knowing what else to do, I walk towards it. When I get there, I see a robed skeleton shuffling a deck of playing cards.
"Hello?" It looks up at me. "What's up dude?" "Where am I?" She chuckles a bit. "The afterlife." I feel my heart sink as she says that. "I'm... dead?" "Yep, pretty bad way to go, getting electrocuted, very painful." "How... did I die?" She grabs my hand, and I relive my death. I see Whisper crying over my body, begging me to come back. I jerk back a bit and look at her.
"You have to send me back!"
"No I don't." "Yes you do!" "No I don't." "Yes you do!"
I suddenly look at the cards. "I'll play ya for my soul!" She's intrigued by this. "Ok, but if I win, I get your ribcage, mines a bit old..." She opens her robe and I see her ribcage, it's battered and broken in multiple places. "Deal!"
We shake hands and begin to play Texas Hold'em. "So, what's your name?" "Death." I look at her in amusement. "How original." "How dare you? My mother was very fond of that name."
We bicker a bit, and I eventually win.
"Damn, no ribcage for me." I look at her. "Now send me back!" "Alright, alright, hold your horses." She stands up and stretches. "Hey, if you see a clown with katanas who's wearing red spandex, tell him I said hello!"
She snaps her fingers together, then nothing, once again, whoop de doo.
