His eyes were as blue as the ocean and his hair were silver. He looks so sick because of his pale skin. I took a step closer to the glass divider to be able to see his chest clearly. There were black veins coming from a wound in his chest. It looks beating... and painful. Is he human?
I wanted to leave but my feet seems to be glued on the floor.
“Ms.
We agreed that I won't tell anything about him to Wren. That we'll pretend we didn't knew each other. Apparently, Wren doesn't want me to know about his condition and Match acted on his own because he cared for Wren but still doesn't want to see Wren get angry.
“What are you doing here?”
“Are you okay?!” tanong ko pabalik at lumapit sa kanya.
“How did you get here?!”
“When are you going to tell me about your condition?” I asked, ignoring his questions. Nagkatinginan sila ng doktor niya.
“I’m fine. The operation went successful—”
“Yes... but your sniping ability won’t be the same, and because of your wrist, you’re going to lose your job!”
“I’m fine. My wrist were fine Atticus said my wrist will be back to normal after months. Isa pa, I can use my left hand to shoot. So you don't have to worry, I won't lose my job, and my wrist will be fine...,” paliwanag niya. Explain to her!”
The doctor he called Atticus lower his head and shook it. Before raising his gaze at me with a small smile.
“I don't have time to explain. But it's the first time I heard him talk for that long. Normally he'll stay silent even if he's being accused of the most absurd thing. I think you should trust him,” he said and smiled. My eyebrows furrowed.
Did that Match just tricked me?!
“But he said, you're sad at na... hindi na mababalik sa dati ang kamay mo—”
“You mean... Match?”
“Did he just tricked me?”
