A U-Turn???

Shaurya- Morning coffee my sweetheart.....

Anokhi- Hmmm. Morning!

Shaurya- Morning. Freshen up hoke pilena. Btw breakfast is in progress. So come soon.

Anokhi- Hmmm. Aati hoon. And kal ke liye thanks.

Shaurya- No problem.

Anokhi, Shaurya, Shaan and Aastha have breakfast.

Shaurya- Kabhi kabhi lagta hai half of life is food you know! I mean if I had to summarize mere aur Anokhi ka dating life it would be breakfast by Maa, chaat at the local thela, 2 dozen coffees and 1 dozen shikanji. Mom dad shadi bhi aisi hoti hai kya? All about khana. Agar yeh sach hai toh log shadi ke baad restaurant kyu nhi khol lete!

Shaan- Shadi khane se kafi zyada hoti hai. Tum dono date kar rhe ho isliye aisa lag rha hai.

Shaurya- Dad par har date mein khana hota hai. I mean....

Anokhi- Toh aap kar lijiye naa dieting. Mein kyu khamaka khana chodoon.

Shaurya- Not but seriously? Shadi mein bhi log breakfast sath mein karte hai. Fir alag alag office jaate hai. Fir shaam ko chai sath mein peete hai. Dinner karte hai. Discuss karte hai ki agle din lunch ke dibbey mein kya chahte hai. Aur fir so jaate hai. Right? Weekend pe movie pe chale jayenge zyada se zyada. I mean I love Anokhi but so much time spent loving is actually spent eating.....

Shaan- To stay with a loved one is actually lot more. It is the small things. Small moments that happen in between everything else. And don't stop happening just because one is busy or one is bored. They always happen.

Shaurya- And because of me you didn't have those moments.

Shaan- No. It's different to have a child together. It actually increases the variety and types of moments that are possible because the possibilities are just more with 3 people.

Shaurya- Hmm. Aapko kabhi gussa nhi aaya mujhpe. Mom? Dad?

Aastha- Nhi. Shaan ki galti thi. Haalat ki galti thi.

Shaan- Haan. Par jab tumne birthday pe jo kia woh pata chala toh bohot gussa aaya. Apne aap pe ki tumhe yeh insaan meri galtiyon ne banaya. And jab Aastha pehli baar aayi thi tab. But ab sab theekh hai. Aur woh kaafi hai mere liye.

Aastha- Aur woh waqt ke baare mein sochke kuch hasil nhi hoga. Isliye chodo.

Shaurya- Maa. Sachme maaf kar dia uss din ke liye aapne?

Aastha- Haan.

Shaurya- Thanks Maa. Par mein nhi kar paoonga khudko.

Aastha- Maine maaf kar dia toh ab please unn baaton ko chodo. Meri ek baat nhi maan sakte?

Shaurya- Achaa chod dia. But honestly so much of life is eating and sleeping. So I definitely can't complain about Mom ka khana.

Everyone gives out a laugh.

Anokhi leaves and Shaurya was relaxing on the balcony with a book when he hears the bell ring. It felt queasy. Like the start of something uncomfortable. He didn't know why but when Anokhi left it felt queasy. He chided himself for feeling queasy. After all when you are lovestruck her going back to her hostel can't be entirely pleasant. But then he felt this was just queasiness without a reason. He walked towards the door to open it but it had already been opened. There were bade papa and badi maa at the door.

Devi- Shaurya!

Shaurya- Badi maa? Aap? I mean yahan iss waqt?

Devi- Galti sudharne ke liye koi waqt sahi nhi hota. Jab galti itni badi ho tab.

Shaurya was not surprised. He was just surprised a tad bit why the emotional drama had not begun earlier. Drama aimed at coaxing him to come back to the Sabbarwaal mansion.

Tej- Dekho Shaurya hume Aastha kabhi pasand nhi thi. Abhi bhi nhi hai. Par sachai yeh hai ki hume haq nhi banta ki hum Shaan se woh karwaye jo hum chahte hai. Sachai yehi hai ki hume apni galti ka ehsas hai. Ki tumhe aur Shaan ko control karna sahi nhi tha itne saal. Bas yehi kehne aaye hai.

Shaurya was now astonished. This wasn't the complete unrealistic U-Turn. This was an honest acceptance. Of what they liked, wanted and what they felt they had erred on.

Shaurya- OK. Fine. Sun lia aapki baat.

Tej- Shaurya yeh bhi samjhte hoge ki hum tumhe lene aaye hai. Aur Shaan ko bhi. Aur Aastha aa sakti hai.

Shaurya- Wow! Toh yeh sab hume haasil karne ke liye hai.

Tej- Haan. Aise naa hum khush hai aur naa hi tum. Toh kyu naa ek nyi shuruat kare. Hume woh mil jaega jo hum chahte hai. Aur tumhe woh jo tum chahte ho.

Shaurya- Mein yhi khush hoon.

Tej- Pata hai. Par hum kitne bhi bure log hai. Tum toh acche ho. Yaad  nhi aati humari maan nhi sakta. Humare faislon ne tumhe iss mukaam pe laake khada kar dia ki tumhe chunna pade. Yeh sahi nhi hai.

Shaurya- Ho chuka hai. Jo aapko karna tha aap kar chuke.

Devi- Beta? Woh ghar tumhara hai. Tumne usse banaya hai. Apni mehnat se. Uss ghar se muh mat phero. Hum samjhte hai ki tumhe control karna humari zindagi ki sabse badi galti thi.

Shaurya- Kyu takleef dene aa gye? Yeh jatane aaye ki woh ghar chodkar maine galat kia?

Devi- Galti kiski hai woh socha nhi humne. Bas apne hisse ki galti sudharne aaye hai.

Shaurya- Hmmm. Par kya guarantee mom wahan khush rahengi? Mein mom ke bina nhi aane wala.

Tej- Yeh guarantee hai ki jis din tumhe lage ki humne Shaan aur Aastha ko alag karne ki koshish ki tum phir se ghar chod dena.

Shaurya- Sochne dijiye. Mujhe waqt chahiye.

Tej and Devi leave.

Shaurya- Dad kya lagta hai?

Shaan- Shaurya woh log bohot chalak hai. Par iss baar woh bhi jaan le ki mein Aastha ko nhi chodne wala.

Aastha- Shaan shayd woh sach ho ki woh shayd mujhe apna kabhi nhi mane. But shayd wih meri life mein interfere bhi naa kare. Woh mere liye kaafi hai. Aur jis rishte ko tutna hai woh toh aise bhi tut jayega. Toh wahan nhi jaakar kya haasil hoga? Shaurya se hum uski family ka bada hissa nhi cheen sakte. Toh fir humme aur unme farak kya reh gya.

Shaurya- Sahi aur galat ka?

Aastha- Sahi aur galat toh relative hota hai. Ek waqt tumhe bhi lagta tha ki mein galat hoon. Toh? Badli naa tumhari woh soch.

Shaurya- Yes mom..... Par itne hadbadi mein yeh faisla nhi ho sakta.

Shaurya walks away. Meanwhile in Sabbarwaal mansion.

Devi- Kya lagta hai Tej?

Tej- Devi Shaurya humare jaisa nhi hai. Isliye woh zaroor aayega. Aur fir hum dekh lenge. Iss baar bohot sambhal ke daav khelna hoga. Pichli baar humne Aastha ko Shaan ke dil se nhi mitaya tha. Isliye iss baar kuch aisa karenge ki Shaan khud hi Aastha ko iss ghar ki chaukhat se nikal de.

Devi- Par kaise?

Tej- Woh abhi tak socha nhi hai. Par ek rishte ko todne ke liye ek sahi daav hi kafi hai.

Devi- Tej aisa hi ho. Shaurya ke zindagi pe sirf humara hak hai. Itne saal humne uska khayal rakha. Aur abhi woh apni maa ka pallu pakadke baitha hai.

Tej- Devi uske hath mein jo pallu hai naa woh itni jaldi badlega jitni jaldi hava apna ruk naa mod sake.

Devi- Aisa hi ho Tej. Aisa hi ho.
