Halloween at the Beach was a different breed entirely. Parties for the spooky holiday were planned weeks in advance, people searched for costumes or made their own with random pieces of clothing—it was like they were back home in normal Tokyo, except not at Shibuya Crossing of course. As the festive night approached residents at the Beach, Chishiya awoke from his nap due to loud banging on his hotel door. Well, it wasn't his entirely.

The blonde groggily got up from his side of the room and got the door, "Who is it...Kuina?"

She looked down at her short best friend, "Did you just wake up?!"

Chishiya rubbed his eyes and yawned, clearly indicating what he was doing before she came to the door. Kuina facepalmed while the short man noticed her appearance. Due to the Beach's top rule, she still wore her bikini but had some accessories to match her tan skin, like she was truly going somewhere tropical.

Chishiya cocked a brow while shoving his hands into his pockets, "What's with the coverup and the flower in your hair?"

"It's a part of my costume, silly. And where's yours? It's Halloween, Chishiya, and you should have one too."

The blonde shrugged, "I didn't think people would be celebrating Halloween when we're stuck between life and death all the time, so I didn't bother thinking of or making one."

Kuina put her hands on her hips, "...I feel like you'd be a cat if you had a costume. But anyway, you have somewhere to be."

"Which is?"

"The roof. Overheard your boyfriend—"

Chishiya deadpanned while cutting the girl in front of him off, "That's not my boyfriend, Kuina—"

She quickly shot back, "Your boyfriend said you should meet him on the roof tonight."

The short blonde cocked a brow, "Meet him, on the roof, during Halloween. That sounds stupid just like him, and I'm not going—"

Kuina pulled Chishiya from his hotel room and pushed him up the stairs, "Why not, hm?"

Chishiya didn't even try to stop Kuina's force (mainly because he knew how strong she was), "Because this is the same dumbass who tried to kill me the other night while I was dead asleep, and it makes zero sense why he wants to see me up here."

Kuina dusted her hands off, "Well, if you do die, I just wanna say that it was fun knowing you!"

The tall woman ran away and went down the stairs, probably on her way to some get-together with Ann. Chishiya deeply sighed before walking to the rifle-carrying boy himself, Niragi Suguru. He stood behind the edge of the building with his prized possession, mind clearly off somewhere else.
