It's been years ever since the infamous meteorite struck Tokyo. Emergency services and rescue crews tried their hardest to help survivors recover from the main hit point, along with trying to clear the surrounding areas since the disaster's aftermath left many places in shambles and some buildings ablaze. After much of the land was restored, evacuees could choose between returning to their possibly destroyed homes or staying in the area they evacuated to. Chishiya Shuntarou was one of the people who decided to return after being hospitalized for meteor-related injuries momentarily.

After putting down some money for a small, cheap apartment in the rebuilt heart of Tokyo, Chishiya realized his next-door neighbor was possibly someone he'd be too familiar with: Niragi Suguru, a name he never thought would escape his lips again. At the "Beach", the man was known as the idiotic psychopath who carried a rifle, killed many people, and didn't give two shits about anyone but himself. Chishiya assumed the obvious worst regarding potentially interacting with his one-sided enemy. If Niragi still had the mindset he had years ago—which was probably true, then Chishiya was in for one hell of a ride.

Moving day was complex once Chishiya somehow shoved all his stuff into boxes and then his car. After a few minutes of driving, he arrived at the apartment complex that would be his new living quarters for the time being. With his arms full of boxes, Chishiya went to the building's elevator and got a good chunk of his stuff inside the cramped space. He scrambled to get his keys once he got off and arrived at his new front door, easily dropping them since his stuff was still in his possession.

After he dropped his packaged belongings onto the carpeted floors and kneeled, he stood up and turned around to be met with the man, the myth, the self-proclaimed legend himself: Niragi Suguru. The man was still tall as shit and—of course—still had his black hair but instead of a rifle in his hand, he held a cigarette instead. He reeked of alcohol and ash but wore a decent fit, which was a loose black-sleeve collar shirt with black pants. His face had the same structure but had a lot of fading scars, mainly on his cheeks.

Chishiya cocked a brow while holding his keys, "Not surprised you live here but it's surprising you're still alive, Suguru."

Niragi smoked part of his cigarette, blowing the air into Chishiya's face; "Why the fuck are you here, hm?"

He turned back around and seamlessly unlocked his front door before grabbing a box and going inside, "I'm now living next door if your brain couldn't figure that out. Trust me, I'm not particularly happy about it either."

The taller male scoffed while following Chishiya inside, "Then why did you move in, dumbass? Not so smart now, huh?!"

The shorter male shrugged while setting his box onto the floor, "Because rent's cheap and this is close to my job, something I'm sure you can't get an offer for."
