Ann always spent the majority of her time reading, whether it was to gain knowledge on certain topics while resting her eyes from the advances of society's technology or to just pass time. As she laid in bed one random night—snuggled with warmth, her girlfriend decided to add on and chill with her like usual. She softly rested her head on Ann's shoulder, making the woman smile and blush like a teenage girl.

Kuina snuggled against her girlfriend, "Do you want some snacks, Ann?"

Ann pushed her glasses back and shifted slightly under the warm blanket, "No, Kuina. Stay on my shoulder, it's cold right there."

"But I can hear your stomach growling..."

Ann rolled her eyes before flipping to another page in her book, "If you care so much, then—"

"Be right back!"

In a jiffy, Kuina ran from under the covers and left the bedroom to return with her arms full of various treats. From savory chips to sweet candy, the woman had it all (and it was thanks to the superb grocery shopping she and Ann did a few days prior).

Ann slid her glasses off and set them on her side's nightstand, "Did you seriously raid the pantry just for me?!"

"Well duh, Ann! Why wouldn't I?"

The women laughed as Kuina set the snacks down and returned to her spot under the covers. Ann grabbed a bag of chips while Kuina grabbed a piece of candy.

"Movie night?"

Kuina smiled, "Of course."
